You can find all kinds of things while walking along the sea: from missing letters to rubber ducks. But imagine finding a villa during your casual walk! This mysterious construction that used to be a hotel is 46 miles south of El Salvador's capital, San Salvador. Unfortunately, the engineering behind it wasn't well planned out. While some people say that the building was abandoned decades ago, others claim it was deserted after Hurricane Mitch hit this area back in 1998.

The ghost ship Jenny is one of those eerie sea tales that gives you chills. In 1840, a whaling ship discovered Jenny frozen solid in the Drake Passage, near Antarctica. The crew was found perfectly preserved, still frozen in their last moments, with the captain’s log detailing their desperate struggle against the cold. Ever wondered if strong winds could actually sink a cruise ship? The short answer is: it’s possible, but super unlikely. Modern cruise ships are designed to handle crazy weather, with stabilizers to reduce rocking and engines powerful enough to steer through storms.
