The Sniper!
Mikael Granlund has been nothing short of spectacular this year, and is now on pace to set the team record for goals in a season. The chemistry of this club has definitely been one of the main reasons for such strong and consistent play of late, as the Wild hold the NHL's third best point total! facebook.com/bravethewild facebook.com/mnwplayers @bravethewild paladinolive@yahoo.com Call into our Phone Lines at:209-736-7877

Wild Renaissance!
Zach Parise has been the Parise of old, that made us so giddy on July 4th 2012. Ryan Suter is back to being a top defenseman, and Mikael Granlund has been downright awesome, not being afraid to shoot the puck! With all said, Devan Dubnyk has been the most consistent in carrying this team night in and night out, not to mention some stellar play from his backup Alex Staylock, who's provided some game changing puck handling! facebook.com/bravethewild @bravethewild paladinolive@yahoo.com Call into our Phone Lines at:209-736-7877

Season Preview 2018-2019
Hockey season is back, and we're here to preview everything Minnesota Wild and the NHL! We discuss how teams will finish, especially the local club, along with how far teams will go. We also talk extensively about specific players, and their importance for the Wild to hopefully take a step forward later on, if not this year. facebook.com/bravethewild.minnesota @bravethewild paladinolive@yahoo.com Call into our Phone Lines at:209-736-7877

Draft And Free Agency 2018
Wild new GM Paul Fenton has his first draft and free agency period in the books. So far so good, albeit a bit conservative to start things out. No one should really be surprised, as Fenton clearly stated that he wanted to feel things out, and not just make trades to make trades. We focus this episode on the nine players drafted, and seven players signed the past week. facebook.com/bravethewild.minnesota facebook.com/mnwplayers @bravethewild paladinolive@yahoo.com

State Of The Wild 2018
The annual Megasode is here! We put a bow on the 2017-2018 Minnesota Wild season, naming our team awards for the year. We then talk about our new General Manager Paul Fenton, who looks to make aggressive "Hockey" trades, rather than dumping away draft picks, like the previous two administrations were notorious for. We wrap up the show talking a bit about the Stanley Cup Playoffs and Final. facebook.com/bravethewild facebook.com/mnwplayers @bravethewild paladinolive@yahoo.com Call into our Phone Lines at:209-736-7877

Fletcher Era Is Over
Chuck Fletcher is no longer the GM of the Minnesota Wild. We look at his resume with Minnesota, including a lot of aggressive trades that brought little or nothing long-term for this team. An improvement in drafting vs Doug Risebrough, but certainly a far cry from what could have been, with more of a draft focused approach. At the end, look at eight possible candidates to take over the job. facebook.com/bravethewild facebook.com/mnwplayers @bravethewild paladinolive@yahoo.com Call into our Phone Lines at:209-736-7877

Same Old Story...
The Minnesota Wild season is over in the first round of the playoffs yet again. Once again we've seen the same players disappear at the time they are needed most. A significant trade or two in the off-season is more than necessary to hopefully bring in some new blood, to strengthen the psyche of a team that has shown mental weakness for far too long. facebook.com/bravethewild facebook.com/mnwplayers @bravethewild paladinolive@yahoo.com Call into our Phone Lines at:209-736-7877

Continued Frustration
The Minnesota Wild are down 2-0 in the postseason again, and 0-8 in game two's in the Parise and Suter era. Winnipeg has matched our every move, and on occasion made us look silly. A little luck in the 2016 NHL hasn't hurt the Jets either, as Patrick Laine looks like the next star player in the Central Division for the next 10 plus years. The Minnesota Wild are in the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the 6th straight season, and will play the Winnipeg Jets. We talk about the final games of the regular season, mourn Ryan Suter's injury, talk about Carson Soucy, and Louis Belpedio, and of course preview the 2018 playoffs! facebook.com,bravethewild facebook.com/mnwplayers @bravethewild paladinolive@yahoo.com Call into our Phone Lines at:209-736-7877

Dumba's Domain
The Minnesota Wild continued their generally well play of late, taking care of business against Nashville and Dallas in a couple games, and at least getting a point in Nashville and vs Boston. Matt Dumba has become so important to this team, that if he goes, the Wild go, and if he makes a mistake, it's at the worst time. facebook.com/bravethewild facebook.com/mnwplayers @bravethewild paladinolive@yahoo.com Call into our Phone Lines at:209-736-7877

The Real Test Begins
The Minnesota Wild gained 3 out of 4 points this past week against Arizona and L.A. Since struggling in Colorado, Devan Dubnyk has been pretty strong in net and will have to be this coming week, as the schedule gets much tougher that ever! Once again the Minnesota Wild struggled mightily against the Edmonton Oilers and especially the Colorado Avalanche. Despite the ugly losses, Minnesota ended up sweeping a team that many have fallen to this year, the best expansion team of all time, the Vegas Golden Knights! Matt Cullen has emerged once again as the guy that shows up later in the season, and reminds us of what a value he truly is to a competitive team. Zach Parise is returning to form as well, scoring in every game this past week, and Eric Staal continues his incredible scoring pace to what should be 40 plus goals! From Great To Gross
The new top line for the Minnesota Wild was amazing, with 26 combined points in its first three games together. With this line in tact, Minnesota would get to five wins in a row, including pounding Mike Yeo and the St Louis Blues 8-3. What followed was the Wild getting to cute and losing to Arizona again, and ultimately getting manhandled in Colorado. Joey also celebrates his 700th career podcast in this episode!! Empire Sweep!
The Minnesota Wild did something that they don't do very often, they won all three games in the New York/New Jersey Metropolitan area! Jason Zucker continued his road excellence, Erik Staal is one goal away from the big thirty, and Mikael Granlund just missed his third career hat trick! Metroplexed!
After a very strong start for the Minnesota Wild, an angry and determined Rangers team almost became the second team to steal away a 3-0 lead from the home club. The Capitals, as always, pretty much rolled all over the Wild in a one sided match up, putting a pretty big blemish on Minnesota's stellar home record. We also talk about Kirill Kaprizov's Olympic hat trick, and the continued positive signs for some other late Wild draft picks! Nothing Makes Sense
The Minnesota Wild don't make a whole lot of sense, getting pounded by Dallas, pounding St. Louis, blowing a 3-0 lead at home to Arizona, and then shutting out Chicago. Is it time to start trading players away? We say good bye to Neil "Natedogg" Thesing, and dedicate every show from here forward to him. We add Neil Retrospective Part 1, don't miss it! After a couple of great games against the Tampa Bay Lightening and Ottawa Senators, the Minnesota Wild spilled coffee all over their brand new shirt. Minnesota no-showed in the first two periods against the Pittsburgh Penguins in an embarrassing effort, getting tick tack toed early and often! The Split
The Minnesota Wild would get a split the past weekend, starting with a dazzling performance against the the Winnipeg Jets, followed by an up and down performance against Vancouver, resulting in an OT loss. The Wild will face all eastern conference teams the remainder of January, which at times bodes well for this club. Puck Possession?
One of the things that has been plaguing the Wild most of this season has been puck possession, you can't win often with the puck in your zone most of the game. After a very valiant effort in Nashville that fell short, as the penalty woes came back to haunt them in the third period, the Wild stepped up the next two games at home. Matt Cullen and Eric Staal had muti-goal games as Minnesota dominated the puck almost the whole game. Nino Niederreiter in his return vs Buffalo scored early and often in his second career Hat Trick! Boxed In
Stay out of the #@%&! box! As coach Bruce Boudreau said this past week, as endless penalties plagued the Wild time and time again. Locking Down Wins
Alex Staylock had a week he will not soon forget. The Wild goaltender was in net against his former team the San Jose Sharks for the first time, and survived a third period onslaught from the ever talented Brent Burns, and Thomas Hertl among others. Dubnyk would have to leave the Calgary game after stopping ten Flames shots, Staylock held down the fort, leading to another win. With Dubnyk still out, Staylock would get yet more satisfaction, shutting out the other team that pushed him away, with a 2-0 win vs Toronto.
