The new top line for the Minnesota Wild was amazing, with 26 combined points in its first three games together. Alex Staylock had a week he will not soon forget. The Wild goaltender was in net against his former team the San Jose Sharks for the first time, and survived a third period onslaught from the ever talented Brent Burns, and Thomas Hertl among others. Dubnyk would have to leave the Calgary game after stopping ten Flames shots, Staylock held down the fort, leading to another win. With Dubnyk still out, Staylock would get yet more satisfaction, shutting out the other team that pushed him away, with a 2-0 win vs Toronto.
