Snake Bitten
The Minnesota Wild were snake bit the past two games in San Jose and Arizona. Charlie Coyle continues to emerge as this franchise's most promising player to date. Breaking Free!
The Minnesota Wild since November have set some unbelievable lows on the power play, and goal scoring in general, but finally broke free Thursday night in L.A! Darcy Kuemper, like two years ago, helped the Wild end a long losing streak against a very strong Kings team, will history repeat yet again? facebook.com/bravethewild.minnesota @bravethewild paladinolive@yahoo.com Call into our Phone Lines at:209-736-7877

Overtime Blues
The Minnesota Wild finally ended the New Years Eve curse, but after that had an up and down week. Minnesota only mustered a single point in the Florida two step, followed by a strong showing against Columbus, then wrapped things up with some sloppy play at home vs Philadelphia. Coyle, Nino Shine!
In the last Brave The Wild, we talked about the struggles of Charlie Coyle, and especially Nino Niederreiter to score, so what happens? Of course, both of them pick things up big time, highlighted by three spectacular goals by Coyle in 4 games! Breaking The Script!
The Minnesota Wild in previous years under Mike Yeo had developed a script, where every single late November/December, they would have a swoon, and his job would hang by a thread. As of the past three weeks, it appears our hockey club has indeed broken that tradition, and are playing like they did last February instead! Is This A Script?
Joey is finally back to talk Minnesota Wild! It seems we've been experiencing Deja Vu the past three years or so, and your host is wondering if this team's year by year fate is on some type of script? We get caught up with everything, and go over the strange similarities, as well as some things that are quite different! Shaky, Yet Strong!
The Minnesota Wild have started out this new season with a very strong record, but it certainly wasn't as easy is their 7 out of 8 points would indicate. The Wild had to recover from a 3 goal deficit in Colorado, and went on to win in an amazing game. As for Devan Dubnyk, he's certainly not the same as last season yet, but Darcy Kuemper is reminding us of his potential! Have The Wild Reached Their Ceiling?
The Minnesota Wild were swept by the Chicago Blackhawks, making it the third consecutive year being eliminated by the same team. With that said, has this hockey club reached it's ceiling? How can the Wild get past this plateau, or are we stuck here? Joey gives his thoughts on all of this, along with the other series in the Stanley Cup Playoffs "Like" Brave The Wild on Facebook @bravethewild Call into our Phone Lines at:209-736-7877

These Guys Are Serious
The question we all had coming into these playoffs was "Are these guys serious?" After game 4, it appeared they were not, but games 5 and 6 proved otherwise, that this team is more than serious about making a very long playoff run. The Wild now will face the Chicago Blackhawks in the post season for the third year in a row, and the second in round number 2. In Good Position
The Minnesota Wild are in good position after the first two games in St. Louis, as they bring a 1-1 split back to Xcel Energy Center. The Wild stole home ice away from the Blues in game one, giving them a legit chance to ultimately live up to your host's prediction of Wild in six! Joey also briefly covers the other NHL playoff series! "Like" Brave The Wild @bravethewild Call into our Phone Lines at:209-736-7877

The Beginning Of Something Special?
The Minnesota Wild are back in the playoffs, after finishing the season with the coveted 100 point mark. The Wild find themselves in a similar position as they did last year, with the 7th seed in the west, as they take on the hated St. Louis Blues, who were once considered the worst possible match up for Minnesota. Ever since March however, the Wild turned the tide between these teams, and the Blues playoff history leaves something to be desired, making this series ever winnable. Sticks, Posts, And Stripes
The Minnesota Wild had a tough go this past week, against New York and Detroit. Joey has been noticing how different things have been when the Wild has been playing the talented teams out east, as they seem to skate right past them on a regular basis. An interesting, and somewhat scary scenario has been quietly taking shape right under our noses, Joey will break down what he's seeing in segment number two! Cup Contenders
After a 4-0 week, Joey is ecstatic at the Minnesota Wild's chances to not only compete in the playoffs, but to go for it all, because right now, this team looks borderline unstoppable. After raving about Devin Dubnyk stopping hundreds of shots this week, and the second line playing phenomenal, we celebrate our 100th episode in style. Joey devotes an entire third segment to reminisce, and thank you all so much, for sticking with us through thick and thin."Like" Brave The Wild on Facebook@bravethewildCall into our Phone Lines at:209-736-7877

Blues Bashers
Devin Dubnyk and the Minnesota Wild continued their winning ways this week, defeating two division rivals in Nashville and St.Louis. Washington franchise forward Alex Ovechkin, reminded us who the leading goal scorer in the NHL is, as he dazzled us all with two goals to beat Dubnyk in the X on Thursday. The Wild for the second week in a row, snake bit St Louis and their goalie Brian Elliot, though superstar Vlad Tarasenko played much better than he did the previous Saturday. The fourth line for the Wild came up big this week, saving the day in two huge road wins in Nashville and Colorado! Eric Haula has emerged of late, going from almost no points to a more respectable number. Devin Dubnyk continued his great play, never giving up three goals once again! Dubnyk And Koivu Lead The Way
Devin Dubnyk continues his unbelievable run, adding his 5th shutout in 16 games with the Wild. Mikko Koivu has been playing as well as he has in his entire career. Jordan Schroeder and Justin Fontaine have really stepped up in the absence of Jason Zucker, the only hope is, all the above continues! Joey returns after missing a couple weeks, to talk about the Wild going from a disappointment, to boring (but winning), to flat outstanding the past two games against Vancouver and Chicago! Roller Coaster Ride
The Minnesota Wild appeared to have completely quit on head coach Mike Yeo, after demolition style losses to Pittsburgh and Chicago. Lo and behold, GM Chuck Fletcher finally is able to pull the trigger on a trade to acquire a goalie, in Arizona backup Devin Dubnyk. As the schedule dramatically softened, Dubnyk appeared to give the Wild the competence in the net that they've so desperately needed. Steep Hill To Climb
The Minnesota Wild played well against Winnipeg for the most part, but poor performances have buried this club in the ultra deep western conference. Getting slaughtered by Philadelphia at home, and yet another underwhelming New Years Eve performance against Columbus leaves the Wild in a position that they'll have a hard time getting out of, as the schedule thickens.
