And Now We Wait...
The NHL season is on hold for obvious reasons, but luckily we're still able to talk hockey, as there's always going to be conversation to be had, regarding to what the Wild do, in what should be a very interesting and pivotal off-season coming up. facebook.com/bravethewild facebook.com/mnwprospects @bravethewild Questions: #btwmn paladinolive@yahoo.com

Is Fiala 100 Point Material?
Kevin Fiala is showing more and more leadership with his words and his actions. As we head into next year, could Fiala be our first 100 point player? facebook.com/bravethewild facebook.com/mnwprospects @bravethwild. Questions: #btwmn paladinolive@yahoo.com

Fiala The Gamebreaker!
A year ago, when Paul Fenton called Kevin Fiala a "Gamebreaker" we all scratched our heads when we saw the tentative and skittish 22 year old produce very little for Minnesota. A year later, we're calling the 13 month GM a genius, as Fiala looks to be the most electrifying player to wear the Christmas Colors since our first star, Marian Gaborik. facebook.com/bravethewild.minnesota facebook.com/mnwplayers @bravethewild Question #btwmn paladinolive@yahoo.com

Rumors Of Trades
The Minnesota Wild almost traded Zach Parise, but at the end of the day, no one was moved on Feb 24. It's becoming more and more clear, that by next season, this roster will be significantly different. With all said, the Wild had a solid week, beating the Oilers and Blue Jackets respectively. facebook.com/bravethewild.minnesota facebook.com/mnwprospects @bravethewild Questions: #btwmn paladinolive@yahoo.com

Controlled Tanking?
With the firing of Bruce Boudreau, and the words of Bill Guerin, it's becoming more and more clear that he has seen enough with certain players that he is willing to possibly begin something I would like to call "Controlled Tanking". I use this term, because of course with certain contracts, you can only do so much. Luckily the cupboards are no longer bare in the Minnesota Wild prospect pool.

Finally A Good Trade!
When you evaluate trades this organization has made the last twenty years, and then you look at the deal new GM Bill Guerin made, this looks like someone that knows that he's doing. Instead of trading picks away to get bottom six players, or player for player trades, Guerin was able to get a current player (Galchenyuk), a very high prospect (Calen Addison) and a conditional 2020 first round pick for the established Jason Zucker. facebook.com/bravethewild.minnesota facebook.com/mnwplayers @bravethewild - Questions at #BTWMN paladinolive@yahoo.com

Trades On The Horizon
The Minnesota Wild had a pair of up and down games, getting crushed by a much better Boston team, and playing very competitively vs Chicago, in which Dumba ended his nearly three month long goal drought with the OT winner. Nothing has happened yet, but it's only a matter of time before GM Bill Guerin makes his first significant trade, because something has to give. facebook.com/bravethewild.minnesota facebook.com/mwprospects @bravethewild paladinolive@yahoo.com

Pitfall
The Minnesota Wild are falling like a man without a parachute of late, either flat not scoring, or watching other players skate right around them. The game vs Pittsburgh showed us another glimpse of where this team stands right now, against legit teams in this league. Thankfully, there is hope for the future, as several prospects continue to stand out! facebook.com/bravethewild.minnesota facebook.com/mnwprospects.com @bravethewild paladinolive@yahoo.com

Folingo's Fortune!
In a back and forth couple of games, Marcus Foligno stood very tall, scoring three goals and adding a pretty spectacular setup to Luke Kunin along the way. The penalty kill has become a bigger concern of late, along with the Wild's goaltending situation as a whole. facebook.com/bravethewild.minnesota @bravethewild paladinolive@yahoo.com

Freeze The Puck!
After an awesome win in Colorado, the Minnesota Wild struggled mightily vs the Islanders and Toronto. An ongoing problem when Dubnyk is in net, is when the puck is in the crease, it's never frozen, or cleared out before bad things continue to happen. facebook.com/bravethewild.minnesota facebook.com/mnwprospects @bravethewild paladinolive@yahoo.com

Up Down Up
The Minnesota Wild had a crazy week, demolishing Darcy Kuemper of Arizona, then following that up, taking a 6-0 thrashing at home from the former "Thrashers", and wrapping up the week virtually dominating the Calgary Flames, who pretty much owned the Wild last year. facebook.com/bravethewild.minnesota facebook.com/mwprospects @bravethewild paladinolive@yahoo.com

Hitting A Wall
The Minnesota Wild went from borderline spectacular in Tampa Bay, to downright awful vs Carolina and Anaheim. Sure the Wild got a point against the Ducks, but there was no life what-so-ever for the first 28 minutes of that game. The injuries continue to mount, as now Erick Staal is hurt with a scary crash into the boards in the shootout loss vs Anaheim. facebook.com/bravethewild.minnesota facebook.com/mnwprospects @bravethewild paladinolive@yahoo.com

At The Crossroads
The Minnesota Wild are at the crossroads as a franchise, as GM Bill Guerin mulls over what to do with the roster for this season and beyond. Luckily, there is light at the end of the tunnel, as multiple prospects have been shining this year in College, the AHL and in Juniors, which may make Guerin's upcoming decisions easier than we may have thought back in August when he was hired. facebook.com/bravethewild.minnesota facebook.com/mnwprospects @bravethewild

Slow, Old, Confused
NHL Hockey season is underway, and the Minnesota Wild have been nothing short of a mess thus far. The veterans look much older, the young guys look confused and unproductive, and everyone is looking slow. We also talk about Jason Zucker calling out Bruce Boudreau after a nasty 4-0 loss to Montreal. Luckily there is a light at the end of the tunnel, as multiple prospects appear to be taking steps forward, and the aforementioned Kirill Kaprizov is closer and closer to coming to Minnesota! facebook.com/bravethewild.minnesota @bravethewild paladinolive@yahoo.com Call into our Phone Lines at:209-736-7877
