At the end of 2019 James Golding was left without a full time drive in Supercars when Garry Rogers Motorsport left the category. Since his exit he signed on for a Bathurst co-driving role with Mark Winterbottom at Team 18, as well as driving an S5000 open wheeler for GRM. After a seat became vacant at PremiAir Racing halfway through the season, Jimmy's name was one of the first mentioned to take up the drive and after a string of strong results he finds himself back on the grid in a full time capacity.

This weekend sees the inagural running of the Bathurst International, but in what is meant to be the showcase event for the Australian Racing Group looks like it hasn't made a blip on the radar of motosport fans. Mount Panorama will play host to the finale for the TCR Australia Championship for 2022 with Tony D'Alberto with a slight lead ahead of internet sensation Jordan Cox, and 2019 champion Will Brown. Plus we'll look at the preparation for next years Las Vegas Grand Prix which was launched by Formula 1 last weekend - and we speak to PremiAir Racing's James Golding who recently re-signed a contract extension and will be with the team in 2023.

After a three year hiatus the roar of Supercars returned to the streets of Surfers Paradise and Matty Mack and Stevie J were there front and centre at the Gold Coast 500. Shane van Gisbergen secured his second consecutive Championship and third overall, and Red Bull Ampol Racing Team secured the Teams Championship. We even dragged Malcolm Owens out of the Classic Cars Corner, and Brad Jones joined us on the panel as well for a bit of live Q+A!

It was a horrible weekend at the Mountain for Brad Jones Racing, but Bryce Fullwood and Dean Fiore provided a silver lining for the team with a P9 in the Bathurst 1000 after two cars in the team were wiped out. We spoke to the Bryce about his journey at the Mountain and got his thoughts on his first season with BJR.

It was announced back in July that Matt Chahda Motorsport (MCM) will compete as a wildcard entry in this year’s Bathurst 1000 in a Walkinshaw Andretti United-supplied ZB Commodore, with Matt Chahda and Jaylyn Robotham making their main game debuts this October at Mount Panorama. We were joined by Brett Ralph the new majority owner of Dick Johnson Racing and while his name might be new to fans in Supercars, the Ralph family has an impressive portfolio of involvement in professional sporting teams from the Melbourne Aces baseball team, the Sunshine Coast Lightning Super Netball team, and the Melbourne Storm.
