After a three year hiatus Supercars returns to the streets of the Gold Coast, and to celebrate Matt and Steve ventured out of the studio to soak in the sights and sounds as we had our second on location live broadcast from The Star on the Gold Coast. We even dragged Malcolm Owens out of the Classic Cars Corner, and Brad Jones joined us on the panel as well for a bit of live Q+A!

It was a horrible weekend at the Mountain for Brad Jones Racing, but Bryce Fullwood and Dean Fiore provided a silver lining for the team with a P9 in the Bathurst 1000 after two cars in the team were wiped out. We spoke to the Bryce about his journey at the Mountain and got his thoughts on his first season with BJR.

We caught up with Shane van Gisbergen ahead of the Gold Coast 500 next weekend, and got his side of the story about his infamous appearance on the Today show the morning after Bathurst.

It was announced back in July that Matt Chahda Motorsport (MCM) will compete as a wildcard entry in this year’s Bathurst 1000 in a Walkinshaw Andretti United-supplied ZB Commodore, with Matt Chahda and Jaylyn Robotham making their main game debuts this October at Mount Panorama. We were joined by Brett Ralph the new majority owner of Dick Johnson Racing and while his name might be new to fans in Supercars, the Ralph family has an impressive portfolio of involvement in professional sporting teams from the Melbourne Aces baseball team, the Sunshine Coast Lightning Super Netball team, and the Melbourne Storm. We spoke to Brett about the DJR acquisition and got his thoughts on what the future holds.

The Sandown SuperSprint is in the history books and it was a neck and neck battle between Will Davison and Shane van Gisbergen. Nathan Herne bounced back from a shocking previous round at Sydney Motorsport Park bounced back to snatch back the lead of the 2022 Trans Am Australia Championship and sweep all three races last weekend at Queensland Raceway. We spoke to him after a big haul of points at QR, got his thoughts on S5000, and got his thoughts on the controversy surrounding the GRM cars after the round.

All eyes were on the new look Queensland Raceway last weekend as TCR Australia, Trans Am and the whole suite of ARG's motorsport offerings were on show. Tony D'Alberto stamped his authority on the 2022 TCR Championship, plus we saw a fantastic round for Jett Johnson as well in the Trans Am. We also look at some of the latest rumblings in both the Formula One and Supercars paddocks as the Silly Season kicks off early - and we spoke to Nathan Herne who dominated at QR in his Ford Mustang
