The second half of the season is under way and we look at a big round of racing at The Bend Motorsport Park this weekend. We spoke to the Team 18 driver ahead of the next round at The Bend to look back on some of the highlights of his career so far, and get his thoughts on what's been a difficult season for the two time Bathurst runner up.

We're still a week and a bit away from the OTR SuperSprint at The Bend Motorsport Park but there's been a lot happening off track. We had the shocking news that Pukekohe will no longer be a venue for motorsport in New Zealand and Supercars visit to the circuit next month will be the last, and earlier in the week Shane van Gisbergen was banned by his team Triple Eight from taking part in the TransAm series. Despite being contracted, Lee Holdsworth found himself out of a seat and out of options for a full time drive at the end of the 2020 season. But a lifeline with Walkinshaw Andretti United landed him a co-drive with Chaz Mostert for Bathurst last year, which lead to a breakthrough maiden win at Mount Panorama for Holdsworth and Mostert's second. Now he's back on the grid full time once again driving for Penrite Racing in one of the front running teams, and we spoke to Leethal who made his return to the show for the first time since winning the Great Race!
