Mark Winterbottom looks to be on track to get his best results of the season since he joined IRWIN Racing back in 2019, and ahead of the Team 18 Open Day this weekend he joined us to talk about the year so far - and even addressed the speculation mid year that said he was going to retire.

Broc Feeney was in action lst weekend at the Bathurst International and won the three hour GT World Challenge three hour enduro with Prince Jefri Abrahim and the duo got the win at Mount Panorama, and he joined us on the show this week to talk about the win and we got his thoughts on how his rookie season has been so far with Triple Eight Race Engineering after he replaced seven time Supercars Champion Jamie Whincup who retired at the end of last year.

At the end of 2019 James Golding was left without a full time drive in Supercars when Garry Rogers Motorsport left the category. Since his exit he signed on for a Bathurst co-driving role with Mark Winterbottom at Team 18, as well as driving an S5000 open wheeler for GRM. After a seat became vacant at PremiAir Racing halfway through the season, Jimmy's name was one of the first mentioned to take up the drive and after a string of strong results he finds himself back on the grid in a full time capacity.

This weekend sees the inagural running of the Bathurst International, but in what is meant to be the showcase event for the Australian Racing Group looks like it hasn't made a blip on the radar of motosport fans. Mount Panorama will play host to the finale for the TCR Australia Championship for 2022 with Tony D'Alberto with a slight lead ahead of internet sensation Jordan Cox, and 2019 champion Will Brown. Plus we'll look at the preparation for next years Las Vegas Grand Prix which was launched by Formula 1 last weekend - and we speak to PremiAir Racing's James Golding who recently re-signed a contract extension and will be with the team in 2023.

It was a horrible weekend at the Mountain for Brad Jones Racing, but Bryce Fullwood and Dean Fiore provided a silver lining for the team with a P9 in the Bathurst 1000 after two cars in the team were wiped out. It was announced back in July that Matt Chahda Motorsport (MCM) will compete as a wildcard entry in this year’s Bathurst 1000 in a Walkinshaw Andretti United-supplied ZB Commodore, with Matt Chahda and Jaylyn Robotham making their main game debuts this October at Mount Panorama. We spoke to Matt and got the insight how the wildcard entry came about and even got his thoughts on the carnage at Sandown at the last Super2 round.
