Bluphoria is a pop-rock/alternative band, with psychedelic and southern rock influences originally based out of Eugene, Oregon but now hailing from Nashville, Tennessee!</p><br><p>LaFreniere, 22, along with Dakota Landrum [19, rhythm guitar, background vocals], Dani Janae [20, drums, background vocals], and Rex Wolf [21, bass, background vocals], are that rare collective who have figured out early on in their career how to combine rock, blues, alternative, pop, and psychedelia into a kaleidoscopic signature style of their own design. Yonder Mountain String Band started the festival all those years ago and saw fit to move it here to Horning's Hideout. Their<strong> </strong>new album,&nbsp;<em>The Lenoir Investigation</em>, may have started as a tribute to Chicago blues great&nbsp;J.B. Lenoir, but the two guitarist’s worldly influences carry the 11 tracks around the globe. The album is out now via&nbsp;<a href="http://littlevillagefoundation.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>Little Village</strong></a>.</p><br><p>Henry Kaiser’s work in psychedelic guitar playing has few parallels, as the former&nbsp;<a href="https://liveforlivemusic.com/news/psychedelic-guitar-circus/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>Psychedelic Guitar Circus</strong></a><strong>&nbsp;</strong>ringleader has played on over 300 albums and even used the South Pole—the pole mounted on Earth’s south geographic pole—as a slide to play Antarctic blues. Enter Rome Yamilov, the Russian-born guitarist who came to Little Village by way of harp player&nbsp;<strong>Aki Kumar&nbsp;</strong>through the San Jose blues scene.</p><br><p>There's so much packed into this one!
