We are on Cruz control with our 1st show of 2019, as newest Twin Nelson Cruz joins this week’s show. While sitting on the beach in the Dominican Republic he chats about who, and what, had a hand in him signing with the team. “The Boomstick” then takes three cuts, including how he picked up that nickname. General Manager Thad Levine is familiar with Nelson from their time together in Texas, and he is very excited about adding this bat to the lineup and the impact Cruz can have on some of the younger players. Could the Twins be looking to add a closer next? Thad looks at that possibility and more on this week’s Hot Stove Show.
