Bittersweet series again this weekend in Chicago. The Mets crushed the Cubs on Thursday and then scratched and clawed their way through the weekend to win another series

This was a big one. You knew it, we knew it, and the Mets delivered. Max Scherzer set the tone game one with a dominant performance along with Luis Guillorme. Spencer Strider and the Braves bullpen got us back game two despite another stellar outing by David Peterson.

The offense got hot and then immediately cold again. JD Davis and the bottom of the order had a big Thursday but newly minted Mets-Killer Bryan De La Cruz had our number on Friday.

The Mets take care of business in Cincinnati where they earn another series win. Taijuan Walker received plenty of run support in the game one win as he continues to roll.
