The Angels visited us this weekend and that brought Shohei Ohtani to Queens. The thrill was somewhat dampened by the news of his injury Thursday, but it was still incredible to watch him live. We talk about the vibe in the ballpark watching him as well as Kodai Senga's continued brilliance, David Peterson's turnaround, and Francisco Lindor extending his hit streak. Pete Alonso was also hit by another pitch and James had some stuff to say about Mike Trout. Then Esti-Met and a preview of this week's Rangers series.

We react to the series with the Braves and some of the drama that went down in Atlanta. DJ Stewart had another strong series, Francisco Lindor stayed hot, and there was some usual drama. Then, we briefly discuss the NL MVP race between Ronald Acuña and Mookie Betts before doing a quick brief on some our minor league pitchers including a pitch-mix adjustment from José Butto this week. We close with Esti-Met and a preview of this weekend's series against the Angels.

It feels so good to beat the Cardinals and we did it three times this weekend! Kodai Senga and José Quintana dealt, Pete Alonso's power surge continued, Jeff McNeil stayed hot, and Francisco Lindor continued to be one of the best players in baseball. There was also a very funny moment in this series where Pete accidentally threw the ball from Masyn Winn's first hit into the stands. He apologized and got Winn a very nice gift, but the internet had a lot to say and we talked about it. Then Esti-Met, a preview of the Braves series, and a look at Mike Vasil's recent success in AAA.

Fun series at Citi Field this week. Francisco Lindor stayed hot, DJ Stewart showed off his power, José Butto had an impressive return, and Pete Alonso hit another HR. The Mets played some great baseball this week against the Cubs

Tough end to the roadtrip for our Mets losing all three to the red-hot Orioles in Baltimore. We talk about the series and give the Orioles the credit they deserve for what's been a magical season thus far. Then, we preview the Cubs series ahead of a long homestand at Citi Field starting Monday night.

The Mets made more moves this week with Justin Verlander, Mark Canha, Tommy Pham, and Dominic Leone on the move. We break down the prospects coming back and are very excited about Drew Gilbert and Ryan Clifford.

Big weekend Mets fans. David Robertson and Max Scherzer have been traded to the Marlins and Rangers. We break down the prospects we got in return, Luisangel Acuña, Marco Vargas, and Ronald Hernandez, while also talking about the reporting on prospects as a whole. Fun conversation, we're very excited about the returns, and reflect on Robertson and Scherzer's time with us. Then, we recap the series with the Naitonals including Kodai Senga's continued dominance, Justin Verlander's 250th win, Pete Alonso tied Mike Piazza, and Francisco Lindor closed the series with a huge day Sunday.

Lots of good things in this two-game set. Justin Verlander continued his hot streak while Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso had massive nights on Tuesday to propel the Mets towards victory. Carlos Rodón shut us down Wednesday though and had some tense moments with Jeff McNeil. The Nationals are up next back at home.

Weird series out in Boston this weekend. It started out wet and with a win, but then the Red Sox got two from us to close the series. We're onto the Bronx for the Subway Series this week.

Strong series from the Mets against the White Sox. Justin Verlander had a dominant start, Álvarez and Brett Baty each hit two HR, and José Quintana made his Mets debut. Then we changed our Sox and head to Boston for the weekend.

Tough series for the Mets against the Dodgers this weekend where we had to endure two rain delays and a slow start to the second half on offense.

Bittersweet ending to what's been a great week of Mets baseball. The win streak kept going Friday night with a huge extra-inning victory, but then we dropped the next two in San Diego. Francisco Lindor and Álvarez each stayed hot while David Peterson kept building on his solid stretch. Otherwise, we refelected on the first half, preview Pete Alonso in the Home Run Derby, and congratulate Kodai Senga on being named to the All-Star team!

Great series Mets fans! We swept the Diamondbacks out in the desert behind great starting pitching from Max Scherzer, Kodai Senga, and Carlos Carrasco along with three HUGE homeruns from Francisco Álvarez and then an onslaught Thursday led by Francisco Lindor. Life is good, onto Seattle.

Tommy Pham stayed hot and send a tweet and Brandon Nimmo showed off his power stroke but when we hit we didn't pitch and when we pitched we didn't hit. We also review the Steve Cohen press conference and preview this weekend's series against the Giants.

Tough series for the Mets in Philly. There was some good, like Max Scherzer continuing his strong stretch, Francisco Lindor staying hot, and Pete Alonso getting off the schneid, but a tough loss Sunday hurt our momentum. Also, Eduardo Escobar was traded and we discuss the return and reminisce on Escobar's time in New York

Another one of those series Mets fans. We break down everything from a hectic three games in Houston. Max Scherzer looked great, Francisco Lindor is on fire, Grant Hartwig debuted, Marc is in London, and Jon gives his early reactions to being a dad(dy).

Something different this episode... we have our dads on to celebrate Fathers Day from Citi Field! Otherwise, this was not such a fun series losing two of three to the Cardinals. Kodai Senga and Tylor Megill pitched well and Francisco Lindor hit a home run after the birth of his second daughter, but this series left a lot to be desired overall. We also talked about Pride Night from Citi Field and preview our upcoming series against the Astros.

This was the longest two game series ever. Brandon Nimmo was clutch, Justin Verlander was great, Francisco Lindor shaved his head, Dominic Leone shut the door, there were ejections and rule violations, what a wild series. We talk about it all and get more than a few jabs at the Yankees before previewing the Cardinals series.
