The Mets had a tough series in Philly over the weekend in which they were officially eliminated from the Postseason.

We talked to Alex Faust from AppleTV and Fox Sports to talk about this weekend's series between the Mets and Phillies, which of guys he's the most excited to watch, his start in broadcasting, and what it's like having Alex Trebek's approval.

Some fun baseball this week down in Miami. José Butto got it started with another GEM and we got huge contributions on offense from Mark Vientos, Jeff McNeil, and Brandon Nimmo to take two for three from the Marlins in the midst of their playoff push.

The Mets supremacy over the Arizona Diamondbacks continued this week with a commanding series victory at Citi. The offense came out hot with Ronny Mauricio hitting his first career home run and Brandon Nimmo continuing his hot second half. The pitching delivered too with Joey Lucchesi hurling a gem and Kodai Senga genuinely looking like a Cy Young Candidate.

The Mets lost two out of three against the Twins in Minnesota, but there were some positives to take from this series. David Peterson and Tylor Megill each took another step forward while DJ Stewart stayed scalding hot at the plate. Then, we look ahead to this week's Diamondback series and offer a football analogy for the Mets as the NFL started this weekend.

Quick two-game set for the Mets in DC. Tuesday night was one of their best offensive outputs of the season with Francisco Álvarez, Bretty Baty, Ronny Mauricio, and Mark Vientos together for the first time in a major league lineup. Francisco Lindor, Pete Alonso, and Brandon Nimmo (two times) each hit homers too while José Quintana delivered another great start. José Butto looked very good as well on Wednesday in his return to the rotation. Then, we close the episode with Esti-Met and a preview on this weekend's Twins series.
