Reaction to the Padres final regular season series of the year. They clinched the fourth seed in the series opener, which left for a couple of much-needed stress-free games over the weekend. Reaction to the Padres final regular season series vs. the Dodgers this year. They had a shot at controlling their own destiny but that went away once they dropped game two a night after clinching a playoff spot. Joe Musgrove took the ball in the rubber game and was great through six but then he and Tanner Scott weren't great in the 7th, which helped LA clinch the division. Plus, an update on the playoff picture and Fernando Tatis Jr. went on Mookie Betts' show on Thursday in what felt like a weird interview considering the time we're at in the season.
