The man’s passport did look authentic, but the problem was it claimed he came from a country no one had ever heard of: Taured. The mystery is concealed not in the island itself but giant stone statues covering it. Who created the world-famous huge stone heads? Did they serve any specific purpose? Where did their creators arrive from and where did they disappear? Well, it seems the answer is finally just around the corner!

Throughout history, humans have used tattoos to protect themselves against sorcery, claim membership in groups, declare their love, honor their loved ones, or simply express themselves. Tattoos date back thousands of years. Ötzi the Iceman is the 5200-year-old mummy who was found embedded in glacial ice in 1991 in the Ötztal Alps. He had sixty-one markings across his body that are considered to be tattooed by the experts. The construction of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge in Washington was finished 1940, a twin suspension bridge was unique and one-of-the-kind construction never seen before. Mount Everest is the highest point on the planet, and not so many people have managed to climb it. The first duo to have gone down in the history books for reaching Everest's summit were Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay back in 1953. However, there is a tale of another team that could have reached it first almost 30 years earlier. If it's true, then the names of the first two climbers would have been George Mallory and Andrew Irvine.

The Peaky Blinders were known to wear fitted jackets, lapeled overcoats, and peaked newsboy caps. You might have heard of them because of the famous TV show, but it’s not all fiction. The Peaky Blinders – and other gangs like it - came to be because of the poor living conditions and economic challenges of industrial England in the late 19th century. By the end of the 1800s, this gang included people of a variety of ages, from as young as twelve, up to the age of thirty. They were active in Birmingham until about 1910 when they were taken over by a larger gang, called The Birmingham Boys. It all happened in 2013 on a tugboat that was moving through the Atlantic waters along the coast of Nigeria. The tug was pulling a vessel with oil tanks.
