Coriolanus must choose between attacking or forgiving the city he once called home.

Volumnia berates the Tribunes in the Coliseum for banishing her son, Coriolanus, who goes to Antium to join forces with Aufidius against his former home, causing panic among the masses as word of the Volsces’ imminent attack spreads through Rome.

The citizens riot against Coriolanus while he shelters at home, where his mother begs him to return to the marketplace and make a public apology. But once he begins to address the crowd, Coriolanus cannot contain his rage and is banished from Rome.

Disdaining democracy, Coriolanus mockingly begs the people for their votes, stirring up so much resentment that the mob turns against him and the Tribunes charge him with treason.

Cominius names Martius “Coriolanus” and the Senate rewards his bravery by making him a Roman Consul, but suspicions linger that Coriolanus cares nothing for the people and is only serving himself.

Calling for an end to democracy, the brilliant Roman General and war hero Caius Martius (Coriolanus) shames the starving and rioting citizens of Rome for their lack of military service. Meanwhile, the Volcian army, led by Martius’s blood enemy Tullus Aufidius, marches towards Rome

The players delight Theseus, Hippolyta, the lovers and the Court with their rendition of “Pyramus and Thisbe”; as Titania, Oberon and all the fairy kingdom bless the realm with their celebration of unity.

Oberon releases Titania from her spell, restoring peace in the forest; Theseus and Hippolyta, also united at last, discover the lovers in the forest and invite them to join their nuptial celebrations at the Court; Bottom wakes from her dream and runs to find the players, but not before learning their play has been selected for possible presentation before the Duke.

Puck races to restore order amidst a fray of broken hearts and wounding words as Titania dotes on her ass-headed Bottom.

Puck makes an ass of Bottom, who captures the heart of Titania while Oberon causes both Lysander and Demetrius to fall madly in love with a furious Helena.

Chaos ensues as Oberon and Titania fail to balance the natural climate and Puck accidentally interrupts the course of true love in the woods.
