They call it the fish of 10,000 casts, but Kevin Cochran of Kevin Cochran's Musky Guide Service doesn't need anywhere near that to catch the muskellunge. We get the latest on muskie fishing in the summer of 2024 with one of the nation's premiere muskie guides. Kevin also shares his thoughts on the health of the muskie populations and where he feels things need to improve. Oh, and there's a Fast Five, too.

Jason Rylander fishes...A LOT! So it came as quite a surprise to Kev when he found out Rylander had never fished Belle Taine...until Saturday! And neither had Joel Nelson!! That just shows how hard it is to fish 10,000 lakes. But the two teamed up for a tourney and loved the lake...even though they couldn't find enough...small!...walleyes to win the tournament. It's a topsy turvy world, folks.

On Saturday night, 21 year old Darren Roth & 20 year old Kamin Pierce became the youngest team to win the Knights Of Columbus Walleye Classic, claiming the $15,000 top prize by reeling in 31.8 pounds of walleye. Kev chased them down right after they claimed the title to learn their story.

For the second straight year, Bruce Jean & Randy Klasen teamed up for the Knights Of Columbus Walleye Classic...and for the second straight year, they popped in to chat with Kev. We get the word on how the pre-fishing went, witness their "discussion" on who's boat they should use and rehash their days battling on the basketball court with Bruce as official and Randy as coach. It's another entertaining roundtable with a couple of great anglers...and guys.

The Cass Lake Chain is the in the spotlight. Cass is definitely a gem, but when you add all those connected waters, it's an amazing fishery with pretty much everything anyone would want to catch.
