The Binghamton Rumble Ponies season came to an end on Tuesday in Erie, but what a season it was. We briefly recap some of the biggest positives that unfolded during the Rumble Ponies season in the last episode of the 2023 campaign.

Despite a huge 3-run game-tying home run from Drew Gilbert, the Rumble Ponies trail 1-0 in their best-of-three series against the Erie SeaWolves after a 9-6 loss in Game 1.

The Rumble Ponies and SeaWolves were ready to kick the Eastern League Championship Series off, but mother nature had other plans. An episode that was supposed to be an instant reaction to Game 1 turned into Jon talking about how he spent his rainy weekend; but with that is the news on the plan for the rest of the ELCS, and a brief wrap on the Syracuse Mets season. It’s another solo ride for Jon, who recaps the big night by the Syracuse Mets lineup, breaks down the pitching matchup for Game 2 between the Rumble Ponies and Patriots, and recaps the Mets Player Development Awards announced on Wednesday

The Rumble Ponies jump out to a 1-0 series lead in their best-of-three Northeast Division Championship series against the Somerset Patriots. Christian Scott and Luis Moreno dazzled on the mound, while Jett Williams’ first Double-A Home Run was the decisive knock-out punch. Jon shares a sentimental moment he had watching the home run, which Vito missed while somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean (but he’ll love what he sees when he lands!)

Wilfredo Lara tore up Florida this year, Vito and Jon got a chance to sit down and speak with him at the Mets minor league facility in Port St. Lucie. Florida. Lara talks about his inspirations, his family, his goals for next season and much more!

The Rumble Ponies playoff run is almost here and luckily you have Jon and Vito to walk you through what to expect!

Both teams won, Mike Vasil struck out 10 and leads all of AAA in strikeouts, Joander Suarez with 5 innings of scoreless baseball and solid performances from Drew Gilbert, Brendan Hardy, Paul Gervase and so many more but you got to listen to find out! Acquired in the Mets deadline deal for David Robertson, Ronald Hernandez had been playing the Mets quite about being in complex league play vs the FCL Mets.
