5/22/18: Cardinals Insider | 1968 Reunion
The 1968 Cardinals won the National League behind Bob Gibson’s 1.12 ERA, and a stellar season from the entire starting rotation. Fifty years later the team gathered for a reunion at Busch Stadium. Alumni from that team join the show to discuss their pennant winning club.
5/15/18: Cardinals Insider | The Summer of 1998
Mark McGwire put St. Louis at the center of the sports world in 1998 by capturing the single season home run record, which had stood since 1961. Dan McLaughlin, Vicki Bryant, and John Vuch each had unique perspectives on that summer. McLaughlin was telling stories for Cardinals TV, Bryant was involved in merchandising, and Vuch was tasked with determining the distance of each homer. All three share personal stories in this episode.
