He is the Rodney Dangerfield of the CFL!  He gets no respect or no love from the voters of TSN top 50 player list, but Stampeder fans know how important this player is to the team's success. 

The CFL regular season kicks off on Thursday night in Montreal and our CFL insider will be on the broadcast for TSN.

The CFL lost a legend today.  With 231 wins and 10 Grey Cups on his resume, "the Don" was one of the most respected coaches in the league.  Mathews was 77 years old and he lost his battle with cancer.

The Calgary Stampeders wrapped up thier pre season schedule with a 36 - 35 win over the Edmonton Eskimos and now they get ready for the regular season.  We spent a half hour with the coach for Tom's House of Pizza.

After every game of the season, we get to spend a half hour with Dave Dickenson for Tom's House of Pizza.  Out first show of the season kicked off tonight after a 23 - 18 pre season win agaisnt the Lions. 

The Stamps and the Lions open the pre season next Tuesday night at McMahon Stadium and tonight we hooked up with the winningest coach in CFL history.

The NFL draft is over and now the focus falls on the CFL draft this Sunday.  

On April 28, 2014, Brad Treliving was introduced as the 8th GM in Calgary Flames history.  Just over 3 years later, Brad has signed a multi year contract extension.  Under Brad's watch, the Flames have had two winning seasons and two trips to the post season, but the work has only just begun. 

Chris Jones and the Riders have been fined by the CFL again!  Under Jones reign, the Riders have been fined $111,500, not including his $5K personal fine or the $26,000 lost in the salary cap.  Is it arrogance or is Chris Jones just not that smart?

He was born in Great Falls, Montana.  He attended the University of Montana.  No -we're not talking about Stampeder Head Coach Dave Dickenson, we're talking about the new football boss of the Eskimos in Edmonton.

He only played 37 games in the NHL, 19 of those with the Calgary Flames but if you followed this team in the 90ies, you remember the player they called "The Pit Bull."
