#82 Financial Planning And Your Wedding
In this episode, we are talking to a Financial Coach and taking a broader look at planning, both wedding and future. If you have listened to the podcast for a while, you know we talk about money, A LOT. We do NOT think it’s a wise idea, or a worthwhile venture, to go into massive debt for your wedding. We try to remind you all to stay connected to your partner throughout the planning process and to strengthen your communication skills. All of this is to lay a foundation for a successful MARRIAGE - not just an awesome party. It’s stressful. It’s expensive. We get it! We’re here to help.

#76 Real Couple Ashley & Blake - Happy, Happy, ...
Ashley & Blake were truly the most relaxed, joyful, smile-y couple from start to finish on their wedding day and while we know that some of that is just the kind of people they are, we can’t help but think that some of their day-of attitude was also by design. Christy was Ashley and Blake’s wedding planner at their wedding a month ago in Dallas, and we wanted them on the podcast today to share their advice and hindsight about their wedding day...and specifically how they both stayed so darn happy all day long. What they did, and didn’t do, that led to such a positive experience: We present to you, a retrospective, from Ashley and Blake, the happiest couple ever.

#68 Catering, Venues & Bacon! Beth Albright
We’re picking brains around here and this week, we’re lucky to have taken an hour of Beth Albright’s busy day. She is the Director of Development for a catering company in Dallas, TX - Food Glorious Food. She works directly with couples planning their wedding - both on the catering side, and as a venue contact. Beth might be the person that you meet on your first site visit to a venue - to see the space, and to talk about the venue’s policies. Some venues have on-site catering, some have preferred or required vendors lists for you to choose from, and some venues let you bring in a potluck. Which venue to choose is a very important decision! Beth breaks it down for us and answers lots of questions regarding food, beverage, and rentals while she’s at it.
