Still not whole this new year as we missed Taylor but the Shark lugged himself out of a sickly bed and gutted out an hour long podcast. Please bear with his voice. We talk all things related to Kansas State's fast start and why Jerome Tang should be viewed, today, as COY. We also had to hat tip Providence for their scorching start in Big East play and recognize the impact Bryce Hopkins has been making. We then pivot to the Chris Beard firing from last week and how that impacts all parties involved. Just an awesome interview for you today as we kick of 2023. We were lucky enough to bring on Nate Sestina! He dove into his time at Bucknell and the heartbreaking tournament losses his teams suffered against West Virginia & Michigan State. We then pivot to his time with Kentucky and he goes in depth into the first conversation he had with John Calipari. Nate also peeled the curtain back and let us know what it was like being a Kentucky basketball player. It ain't all roses. We talk a little about Rutgers big win and identify some good things. Not gonna lie to you. It's been a tumultuous and heated week amongst the TICH boys. We had to hash some thing out as we recap Arizona's win over Tennessee. Then we also had to get to the big blue blood matchups this past weekend. Kansas smashed Indiana but Subbi isn't all out on the Hoosiers. What's going on with Kentucky against ranked teams? We break down what's going wrong in Lexington. Then we shift our focus to Houston and Virginia. We may not have agreed on much this past week but we all agree Houston is the best team in the country. We discuss bets in Please Sir, I Want Some More and Good Things. Finally we get on outta here with a quiz.

I guess it's upset week here at TICH as we bring on Giddy Potts. The man, the myth, the legend who helped Middle Tennessee State shock Michigan State back in 2016. We dive into that game, his mindset and how well the whole Raider team played that game. We also get his thoughts on the transfer portal and his "next up" mentality. I dive into some topics from this week as well including the IARP decision for Arizona, UCLA mauling Maryland and we wrap it up celebrating Louisville's first win of the season. Hug for them!

Hilarious episode as we welcome to the program former Saint Mary's legend, Omar Samhan. He dives into his career as an agent and we had to relive some iconic moments such as him knocking off #2 seed Villanova. We also talk about some of the best players he's faced and Omar gives us an unforgettable story from one of the greatest players to ever play the game. Feast Week is officially in the books and we're ready to embrace the Big 10/ACC Challenge. Lotta terrific games on tap this week and dive into our favorites. I think everyone is pavloving for UNC/Indiana. We also recap the best from Feast Week which include highlighting Arizona, Tennessee, UConn and Purdue. What were some of the biggest takeaways from their performances. Following that, we had to discuss the conflict in Syracuse between Bryant and the Orange. Is anyone else a little tired of Jim Boeheim? After that we return to one of our favorite segments: Please Sir, I Want Some More followed by a bit of a rebrand called Stan Indursky's Good Things
