Jimmy Olsen, Morning Glories, T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents and Infinite Vacation writer Nick Spencer sits down with us this week to talk about the tough lessons of the Silver Age, giving voice to the people behind the biggest names in Metropolis and, of course, that whole Heavy Ink thing. Chris unveils a brand new segment, our guest, Evan "Funk" Davies, reveals the origin of his nickname and his methods for selecting music for his show on WFMU, and Matt reveals, for the first time ever, his plan to use Gandhi's ghost to collect huge gambling winnings. So, we were supposed to do a real episode, but Euge's computer decided to majorly crash a day before he was going out of town. So after a night of recovering all of the stuff necessary to record and process a podcast, we cobbled together this mini-live-to-tape episode, just to keep our Cal Ripken-esque streak going (note: we have no Ripken-esque streak).

Rick Remender is our first guest to pull a hat trick on War Rocket Ajax, as he stops by to talk about Fear Agent, Frankencastle, and colorful stories about ice cream and hardcore music. We debut a new format for the show, and Chris and Euge talk about Superman just walkin' the earth n' sh*t.

We're back! I know we said Rick Remender would be our guest, but due to some last minute complications, we had to reschedule him (to next week!). So Chris & Euge get to sit with the lovely and talented Ming Doyle, artist of The Loneliest Astronauts and whose work you've also seen in Marvel's Girl Comics anthology.
