The Zeppelin Chronicles Episode 3 "Led Zeppelin...
On the 3rd Episode of Shout It Out Loudcast's sidecast, The Zeppelin Chronicles, our hosts, Tom & Zeus, along with SIOL sidekick Murph and Jay Scott from The Hook Rocks podcast, review the 1970 album, "Led Zeppelin III." Led Zeppelin III often referrred to as the "acoustic album," has been often misunderstood. Filled with many acoustic offerings, the album still boasts several hard hitting classic Led Zeppelin songs, like Immigrant Song, Celebration Day and Out On The Tiles. After a grueling tour schedule Robert Plant and Jimmy Page decided to go to a cottage without running water or electicity in Bron-Yr-Aur, Wales. The two work on their songwriting with only acoustic guitars and a tape recorded. The results are the classic acoustic numbers on Led Zeppelin and other songs that would filter onto future Led Zeppelin releases. The band felt free to do whatever music they so desired. Led Zeppelin III was not only filled with rockers, but folk songs, ballads and perhaps their signature blues song, the classic, "Since I've Been Loving You." Although Led Zeppelin III went to Number 1 in the USA and the UK and went 6 times platinum in the United States, the album is still overlooked and definitely underratted, Led Zeppelin III is an album from a band with no limits to their musicianship or their lyrics and still on the ascension! The Zeppelin Chronicles breaks down Led Zeppelin III SIOL style. The guys discuss their connection with the album, the background of the album, the album cover and finally the songs. They rank the songs, then rank the album and album cover against the two previous Led Zeppelin albums reviewed. So tune in, follow, download and subscribe or face the "Hammer Of The Gods!"For all things Shout It Out Loudcast check out our amazing website by clicking below:www.ShoutItOutLoudcast.comInterested in more Shout It Out Loudcast content?  Care to help us out?  Come join us on Patreon by clicking below:SIOL PatreonShop At Our Amazon Store by clicking below:Shout It Out Loudcast Amazon StorePlease go to Klick Tee Shop for all your Shout It Out Loudcast Merchandise by clicking below:SIOL Merchandise at Klick Tee ShopPlease Email us comments or suggestions by clicking below:ShoutItOutLoudcast@Gmail.comPlease subscribe to us and give us a 5 Star (Child) review on the following places below:iTunesPodchaserStitcheriHeart RadioSpotify Please follow us and like our social media pages clicking below:TwitterFacebook PageFacebook Group Page Shout It Out LoudcastersInstagramYouTubeProud Member of the Pantheon Podcast click below to see the website:Pantheon Podcast Network

Episode 201 "Peter Criss 1978 Solo Album"
This week Tom & Zeus review the 1978 Peter Criss solo album by KISS. This is the 4th and final 1978 KISS solo album to be reviewed by Shout It Out Loudcast. This is the 18th KISS studio album reviewed by SIOL. Produced by future KISS producer, Vini Poncia, this was the most maligned and non-KISS album of the four solo albums. Peter was bold and chose to do an album that he wanted to do and went back to his roots and released an album filled with old school rock, soul and R&B flavored songs, along with a few ballads as well. The album also featured the first disco flavored song by KISS. Many of the songs penned by Peter and his writing partner, Stan Penridge were songs from Peter's older band Lips. A couple were written by fifth member of KISS, Sean Delaney and another was classic rock and roll cover song. The musicians used for the album were top notch session players, filled with piano and horns as well. As usual the guys breakdown and analyze the tracks and rank the songs SIOL style. As always, they then compare the album and album cover and rank it against the previous studio albums reviewed. See if Zeus' love for Peter blinds him when he ranks this album, see if Tom is a fan of disco Peter and find out why Ace is fan of Panera bread! Album Review Crew Episode 36 "Rage Against The ...
On the 36th Episode of the Album Review Crew of Shout It Out Loudcast, Tom, Zeus & Sonny review one the most influential album of the 1990's, the self-titled debut album by Rage Against The Machine. Led by frontman Zack de la Rocha, guitar legend Tom Morello, bassist extraordinaire, Tim Commerford and hard hitting drummer, Brad Wilk, Rage Against The Machine, combined Metal, Rap, funk and punk with intense political lyrics. Their debut album featured ten hard hitting angst filled songs that spoke to a lot of the issues plaguing society. Racism, police brutality, imperialism and more were met with ferocious intensity of del la Rocha's delivery and the heaviness of the band's pulsating music created an excitement that took the 1990's by storm. The debut album went on to go triple platinum and set the band up as a must see band live. Their live performances, including Woodstock 99! have become legendary. Their lyrics, Tom Morello's guitar sound and more made Rage Against The Machine one of the best bands of the 1990's. As usual the boys breakdown and dissect the tracks and rank the songs. They then rank the album and the album cover against the previous 34 albums reviewed on the Album Review Crew. This was Tom's pick and continues our trend of bands that make you think, like R.E.M. and Rush before this. So find out if this becomes Tom's new number one album and if Zeus or Sonny pick this last. Episode 195 "KISS Meets The Phantom Of The Park...
This week Tom & Zeus finally meet the Phantom, the Phantom of the Park that is. Yes, Tom & Zeus do a live commentary of the cult KISS classic, "KISS Meets The Phantom Of The Park!" The 1978 television movie, KISS Meets The Phantom Of The Park was produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions and starred KISS at the height of their popularity. The movie didn't turn out to be quite the movie the band had hope for, but is now considered legendary. The Loudcasters community has been waiting and requesting a breakdown of this movie by Tom & Zeus for years. What better way to review the movie, but with a live commentary. As expected, the guys do not hold back. This is everything you can imagine it to be and more. Tune in this Halloween and start a new tradition by listening to SIOL & "KISS Meets The Phantom Of The Park!" Album Review Crew Episode 35 "Moving Pictures"
On the 35th Episode of the Album Review Crew of Shout It Out Loudcast, Tom, Zeus & Sonny review the eighth album by the legendary band, Rush, "Moving Pictures." This is the biggest selling album from Rush and has sold over 5 million copies in the United States alone. Rush is known for its incredible musicianship with Geddy Lee on vocals and bass, Alex Lifeson on guitar and perhaps the greatest rock drummer of all time, Neil Peart. Moving Pictures continued Rush's progressive sound but in a more commercial and radio friendly manner with songs like "Tom Sawyer," "Red Barchetta," "Limelight" and more. Moving Pictures has become a staple on classic rock stations and many of the songs were part of Rush's live shows. The album was produced by Rush and their long time collaborator, Terry Brown. The album cover has become iconic over the years as well. As usual the boys breakdown and dissect the tracks and rank the songs. They then rank the album and the album cover against the previous 33 albums reviewed on the Album Review Crew. This was our 3rd Patreon pick. The members of Shout It Out Loudcast's Patreon group overwhelmingly selected Moving Pictures. SIOL & ARC listeners know Tom loves Rush. For it's 45th anniversary, Destroyer became the first KISS album to be given the Super Deluxe Box Set treatment. Disc 2 of the Destroyer Box set is filled with 15 demos, most of them unreleased. The songs capture the early sound of KISS, pre-Bob Ezrin. Most of the songs went on to become songs or lyrics of future songs that ended up on KISS albums, Destroyer, Rock & Roll Over and Gene Simmons' solo album in 1978. The guys breakdown the tracks SIOL style and then rank the songs like SIOL KISS album reviews. It ain't the smoke that burns ya!
