Episode 150 "Music From "The Elder""
This week Tom & Zeus review the polarizing 1981 concept album by KISS, "Music From "The Elder,"" on their special 150th episode. This is the 9th studio album from KISS and the 15th studio album reviewed by SIOL. Peter Criss is out and Eric Carr is in. Kiss is joined by producer Bob Ezrin, who produced their breakthrough studio album "Destroyer" and was fresh off producing Pink Floyd's "The Wall." Instead of releasing a hard rocking album to rejuvenate their slumping career, Gene Simmons & Paul Stanley, along with producer Bob Ezrin decide to release a concept album based on a story by Gene, called "The Elder."The album was a disaster commercially and critically. The band had a few promotional appearances, but for the first time in their 8 year career, they did not tour to support the album. However, over time the album has cemented itself with bona fide cult status. As usual the guys breakdown and analyze the tracks and rank the songs SIOL style. As always, they then compare the album and the album cover and rank it against the previous studio albums reviewed.See if Tom or Zeus or both or neither think this is rightly judged as a major misfire and a complete dumpster fire. See if someone thinks people are crazy for not seeing its brilliance! Most importantly...Watch out!Or its Sodom & Gomorrah!Interested in more Shout It Out Loudcast content? Care to help us out? Come join us on Patreon by clicking below:SIOL Patreon Please go to Klick Tee Shop for all your Shout It Out Loudcast Merchandise by clicking below:SIOL Merchandise at Klick Tee Shop Please Email us comments or suggestions by clicking below:ShoutItOutLoudcast@Gmail.com Please subscribe to us and give us a 5 Star (Child) review on the following places below:iTunesPodchaserStitcheriHeart RadioSpotify  Please follow us and like our social media pages clicking below:TwitterFacebook PageFacebook Group Page Shout It Out LoudcastersInstagramYouTube Proud Member of the Pantheon Podcast click below to see the website:Pantheon Podcast Network

Album Review Crew Episode 25 "Down To Earth"
On the 25th Episode of the Album Review Crew of Shout It Out Loudcast, Tom, Zeus & Sonny review the 1979 album by Rainbow, "Down To Earth." With Ronnie James Dio out of Rainbow, Guitar God, Ritchie Blackmore brings in Graham Bonnet to handle the vocals on this, his one and only album with Rainbow. The band also brought in old friend, Roger Glover from Deep Purple to produce the album, however Roger ends up writing the lyrics and joining the band as its new bassist. ARC favorite, Don Airey joins as well as the keyboard player. The sole remaining Rainbow member on the album was legendary drummer, Cozy Powell. This forgotten Rainbow album was sandwiched between three Dio led Rainbow albums and three Joe Lynn Turner led Rainbow albums. The album seemed to stray away from the familiar Rainbow sound and lyrics into a more commercial sound, especially with its two singles, All Night Long and their biggest hit, Since You Been Gone. This was Zeus' pick and as usual the guys breakdown the tracks and rank the songs. The boys then rank the album and album cover against the previous 23 albums reviewed on the Album Review Crew Episodes. So don't cut your hair, lose the sunglasses and grab your favorite tube top and let's start Makin' Love ..... Album Review Crew Episode 24 "Bad English"
On the 24th Episode of the Album Review Crew of Shout It Out Loudcast, Tom, Zeus & Sonny review the 1989 debut album by Bad English. The band is made up of former members of the Babys, lead singer and pop star, John Waite, bassist, Ricky Phillips and keyboard/songwriter Jonathan Cain, along with guitar sensation Neal Schon, were members of Journey. Rounding out the band was future Journey drummer, Deen Castronovo. The band burst onto the scene with 3 Top 40 hits including the number #1 smash, "When I See You Smile." The band relied on a combination of Waite's smooth silky vocals, Cain's song writing and Schon's superb guitar playing. Castronovo and Phillips were more than capable as well. The album was released at perhaps the height of the "hair metal" explosion and went platinum. This was Sonny's pick and as usual the guys breakdown the tracks and rank the songs. This is the beginning of the "Revenge Era" KISS, where the "Demon" is back! A focused Gene Simmons along with Paul Stanley in his prime, Bruce Kulick now comfortably and confidently at his best and a hungry Eric Singer, a non makeup KISS, is perhaps at its peak. The band released 5 singles and videos including fan favorite Unholy, which is the first single and video to feature Gene Simmons as the lead vocalist since I Love It Loud. Revenge also boasts the return of two KISS legends, producer extraordinaire, Bob Ezrin and the talented and never dull, guitar whiz, Vinnie Vincent.
