2019 Mountain West Football Week 1 Recap
Jeremy and Matt are back to recap the first full week of Mountain West football which was full of ups and downs with a ton of excitement and a little bit of disappointment. This week was arguably one of the best ever in the Mountain West with Boise State, Wyoming, and Nevada coming from behind to defeat Power 5 teams, and there could have been more. There is room for improvement and a lot of optimism for the Mountain West this year. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/mwwire/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/mwwire/support

Hawaii tops Arizona to kick the season off 1-0
Jeremy and Matt are back to actually talk some football. Week 0 started off with Hawaii defeating Arizona at home in a very wild contest. The Warriors won 45-38 and it saw a bit of everything with a ton of offense, interceptions, fumbles and defensive stands. Hawaii does have things to work on like ball control, more consistent defense and finding a starting quarterback. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/mwwire/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/mwwire/support

Week 0 Preview: Hawaii Hosts Arizona
Jeremy and Matt are back to preview the first week of college football, and that is the Week 0 game between Arizona and Hawaii late on a Saturday night. The two first go over some of the latest news in the Mountain West which surrounds UNLV's offense, Air Force losing players and depth charts being solidified. The main course is Hawaii hosting Arizona. This game should be a shoot out as the over/under is set at 74 points. Both offenses should be able to move the ball nearly at will and this game could come down to what defense makes the biggest stop. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/mwwire/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/mwwire/support

2019 Boise State Football Preview
Matt and Jeremy are back to preview the Boise State football and its 2019 season. The two are also joined by Raja Prabhala who covers the Broncos for the website. The big issue with this team is who will start at quarterback and also running back as both starters have moved on from the program. The Broncos get the benefit of the doubt but that does not mean there are question marks on the program. Odds are that the Broncos will compete for a conference title even though they lost a lot of offensive playmakers. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/mwwire/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/mwwire/support

2019 Hawaii Football Preview
Jeremy and Matt are back to preview the Hawaii football for the 2019 year. Entering the second year of the run-n-shoot might lead to an even more explosive offensive, especially if QB Cole McDonald is healthy. The running game must get better at running the ball and make up the production lost from WR John Ursua. The defense needs to get better but on the positive side there is experience on that side of the ball, and to help the team this unit just needs to be average. Matt and Jeremy are back to preview UNLV. The big question is if QB Armani Rogers can stay healthy as he is the most important player for this Rebels team and he is the reason why or why not UNLV will have a big season. Also, head coach Tony Sanchez is on the hot seat with a new athletics director where a bowl game might be what it takes to keep his job. Jeremy and Matt are back to preview the 2019 San Diego State football season. The Aztecs do have a new-ish quarterback in Ryan Agnew is the new full-time starter and a spread offense that will still be running the ball a lot with a healthy Juwan Washington. 2019 Colorado State Football Preview
Jeremy and Matt are back to preview the 2019 Colorado State football season. The Rams are coming off a pretty bad yar where they went 3-9 after three straight 7-6 finishes. The big question is if head coach Mike Bobo is on the hot seat since he had a down 2018 but also he is struggling to beat his rivals in Colorado, Air Force, and Wyoming; plus he is not good in bowl games. 2019 Wyoming Football Preview
Matt and Jeremy are back to talk about the 2019 Wyoming football team. The Cowboys have some questions on both sides of the ball, but the offense has more than the defense. On offense, the running game loses Nico Evans and will be replaced by Xazavian Valladay who rushed for nearly 1,000 yards less than Evans. Also, while Sean Chambers is the quarterback, he needs to prove he can throw along with running the ball well. This episode is presented by FuboTV and SlingTV these are two streaming services which can help you watch nearly every Mountain West football or basketball game way less than traditional pay TV. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/mwwire/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/mwwire/support

2019 San Jose State Football Preview
Jeremy and Matt are back to preview San Jose State's football season which should be at least marginally better. That is not a knock on the Spartans program because while SJSU is getting better but the problem is so is the rest of the league. The Spartans offense has some pieces together and if they are healthy then they could get a few more wins because of that. The defense loses star players but they had decent depth to keep the defense about on par as last year.
