Granville Automatic
Led by a modern-day Linda Ronstadt, Granville Automatic writes songs the Associated Press calls “haunting tales of sorrow and perseverance.” With influences as diverse as Emmylou Harris, Ryan Adams, The Smiths and Dawes, Granville Automatic has created a one-of-a-kind sound that revolves around their passion for storytelling. The duo, comprised of Nashville songwriters Vanessa Olivarez and Elizabeth Elkins, is named after a 19th-century typewriter. The girls’ devotion to the project has proved a chaotic road of back-breaking touring, interpersonal tension, former-day-job balancing, other-band leaving, and a love-hate dynamic that brought them from Atlanta to Nashville. Jason Eady
On his last two albums, Jason Eady earned major acclaim for his ahead-of-the- curve take on classic country, a bold departure from his earlier excursions into blues-infused Americana. The Mississippi-bred singer/guitarist merges his distinct sensibilities into a stripped-down, roots- oriented sound that starkly showcases the gritty elegance of his songwriting. Jared Deck
Jared Deck takes life one fight at a time. "The battle has always been internal, overcoming my own failures and working to improve." Raised on the dusty plains of an Oklahoma family farm, Jared worked in the fields as well as the town grocery, owned by his parents. "In a community of 1,200 people, big dreams seem impossible. We're taught to manage expectations, put our nose down, and get to work." He did exactly that. Recorded Sept. 2018 See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Jaime Wyatt
Jaime Wyatt’s newest release Felony Blues, whose title is a nod to records like David Allan Coe’s Penitentiary Blue, is largely an autobiographical collection of convict love stories, prison songs, and honky-tonk laments. Wyatt is a striking figure with an old soul and a voice like a force of nature. Regardless of genre, the Los Angeles-based Wyatt is a dynamic performer, who sails naturally between vintage ‘60s and ‘70s country/rock ’n’ soul anthems and heartfelt country ballads of love and corruption. Recorded Aug. 2018 See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Great Peacock
Spitting stories of love, loss and pain, Nashville’s Great Peacock⎯⎯ comprised of lead singer and guitarist Andrew Nelson, guitarist Blount Floyd, drummer Nick Recio and bass player Frank Keith IV ⎯⎯ challenge the very notion of genre, dismantling tradition and blurring the lines between rock ‘n roll, conventional folk music and true Americana. Having earned praise from Paste, the Nashville Scene, American Songwriter, No Depression, Relix and PopMatters, the band ignites a kind of unapologetic spark. As fixtures on the Southern festival circuit including Shakey Knees, they’ve shared stages with an abundance of equally-minded noise-makers, including Susto, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Dr. Dog, American Aquarium, Margo Price and Jonathan Tyler. Jeremy Short
Jeremy Short is a Kentucky based songwriter who’s breaking out in the blues-rock and Americana scenes right now. You know, the fun stuff… Tune is as Jeremy and Sam Shansky discuss Short & Company’s debut album, Lost in a Spin and more. Recorded Jan. 2019 See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Courtney Marie Andrews
Courtney Marie Andrews spent over nine months of 2017 on the road, with multiple trips across the US, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. That's nothing new for Andrews, though. She's been touring relentlessly since leaving her Arizona hometown at 16. It's a life that inspired much of her 2016 breakthrough album, Honest Life. While that album's themes spoke to the isolation and rootlessness inherent in a life on the road, most of its songs were actually written during an intentional, extended break. The success that followed its release, however, didn't afford her the same break to write the material for her new album. Although May Your Kindness Remain was predominately written on the road -- in the van, in hotels, and in the homes of family and friends -- it's not a road record like its predecessor. That is, it's not so much inspired by her life on the road so much as it is by the people she's met along the way. Recorded March 2018 See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Jamie Kent
Named by RollingStone.com as an "Artist You Need To Know", and dubbed a "rising country star" by Fox & Friends, one might say the future of Jamie Kent looks quite promising. Drawing on influences from modern country rock artists like Jason Isbell and Will Hoge, as well as paying tribute to classic greats like Bob Dylan and Tom Petty, Kent’s perfectly mellifluous tunes are roll-the-windows-down, soak-up-some-sun kind of good. Fate McAfee
Fate began his music career with a pick-worn guitar he bought from a pawn shop, busking the sidewalks of Denver, Austin, New Orleans and Nashville and working side jobs when he could. One day a laborer, the next a carpenter, the next a valet. He spent time as a deckhand on the lineboats that took him up and down the Mississippi River. Equally restless and observant - Fate was always mindful of his interactions with everyone he met, who came from all walks of life. Their lessons, wisdom and experience spilled into the songs that became Diesel Palomino the follow up to his 2017 self release record, Little Bill and the Late Fees.
