Glenn Hughes, who was once considered for the lead singer position in Van Halen, talked about his admiration for the band and their music. Van Halen announced a new compilation album, "The Collection II," which will focus on their studio albums with Sammy Hagar. Country-pop superstar Carrie Underwood covered Motörhead's "Ace of Spades" while opening for Guns N' Roses on their recent tour. Dokken announced details of their upcoming album, "Heaven Comes Down," and shared a music video for the single "Fugitive." Mötley Crüe's Nikki Sixx is working on his fifth book. Anthrax's Scott Ian is okay with the use of backing tracks during live shows. Corey Taylor blasted bands who rely heavily on backing tracks, saying that it takes away from the live experience. Metallica launched their official podcast, "The Metallica Report." Mötley Crüe's Nikki Sixx said that the band is in the "we-don't-give-a-f***" phase of their career.

Diamond Tim is a Nashville native that grew up as the stepson of the city's longtime sheriff, Fate Thomas. Between his insatiable fandom for KISS and his connections to the city leader, Tim was able to get access to KISS in many different ways over the years. From his first concert in Nashville during 1979's 'Dynasty' tour to hanging backstage with the band on the 'Creatures of the Night' tour to presenting members of the band with keys to the city jail to much more, Tim had some amazing run-ins with members of the band. In this long form discussion, Diamond Tim shares his personal KISStory, his meetings with the band, his thoughts on the many changes of the band and much more. Additionally, he would go on to work for the band, interview members at conventions, and even go fishing with Peter Criss!
