For the first time in forever, we actually enjoyed a Saturday as Wisconsin sports pulled off the trifecta. On today’s podcast we start there with the Badgers dominating performance over Louisville. In our conversation, we talk about Wisconsin’s dominating 3 point shooting performance and what we hope they can clean up before Big Ten play starts up against Nebraska. After that we get into the Axe game and recap the dominating performances by a select few individuals. We recap the dominating ground performance by Garrett Groshek, the incredible play of Leo Chenal, and the questionable late-game play-calling once again (Lord, forgive me for the curse words I dropped after that throw). After that, we talk about how nice it was to see the team keep the axe and get into some postseason discussions surrounding the likes of a potential bowl and the transfer of Jack Coan.

On today’s show, we have our usual setup. First, we talk about Wisconsin basketball’s big win over Loyola Chicago and what to take from that contest. After that, we discuss the possibility of some seniors returning for the football team in the likes of Collin Wilder, Danny Davis III, and Kendrick Pryor. Later, we get into our usual preview where we talk about what we think the offense can do to get itself going, how the defense will hold up against the Minnesota rushing attack, and our score predictions to cap things off. On today’s episode of Bucky’s 5th Podcast we’re breaking down all things recruiting as the early signing period is upon us. In the front half of the show we discuss some players we are really excited about in this 2021 group and then get into where we think Wisconsin football excelled on the recruiting front this year. After our conversation, we are joined by Allen Trieu of 247 sports to get his expert opinion on the class of 2021. First, we talk about the class of 2020 which has many players already on the field. After that, we talk about players that are rated higher by 247 than other outlets and if any can make an immediate impact on the field next Fall. Following that, we get into the big positions of the class and Allen gives his opinions on how the linebackers, offensive lineman, and running backs in this class look in his eyes. To round out the conversation we look ahead to the class of 2022 and see what Allen is hearing about some of the top prospects considering Wisconsin!

On today’s episode of Bucky’s 5th Podcast we planned to discuss all things Nebraska with Corn Nation but that has obviously come and gone. SO today we are going to talk about, well what do you think we’ll be talking about?.... I’m sorry. I shouldn’t be lashing out at you. Anyway, we talk about the COVID situation for Wisconsin and the many questions surrounding it. We’ll discuss the impact on not only this weekend, but what it might mean for next weekend and how this all might shake out the rest of the season. Unfortunately we don’t have as many answers at this point, but nobody really does. We’ll do our best to talk about whatever you might be wondering and hopefully not sound like complete and total downers even though we are completely and totally down in the dumps right now.

The first week of the Big Ten’s return to action has come and gone and there is a LOT to unpack. To make it simple, we divided today’s episode into three sections. The tried and true system of the good, the bad, and the ugly. To start, we talk the good which includes a breakdown of the Badgers big win over Illinois with focus on a dominating performances by the Badgers defense and quarterback Graham Mertz. After that we talk the bad which gets into the struggles of the game for the Badgers on both sides of the football, and the major news off the field surrounding said quarterback Graham Mertz (fingers crossed people) and what to make of that developing story. To end we talk the ugly which is surprisingly not going to focused on Rutgers but thankfully for us we can rip on pretty much the rest of the Big Ten West and Michigan State out East.
