Every time you breathe in, you inhale everything in the air. And in our case, it includes small particles of pizza floating in the air. Yes, there are millions of microscopic pizzas flying around! But why does hot food smell more? And why does airplane food tastes weird? How do smells information influence emotions and memories? Let's find out!

It happened about 60 miles off the coast of a city called Pula. Too far away to call for help… As soon as the crew found out about the incident, they launched a major search-and-rescue. They checked onboard CCTV cameras to find out exactly when the fall happened. That way, they could pinpoint the ship’s precise location at that time. The liner also contacted the authorities, and they dispatched a patrol ship, a plane, and 2 rescue boats to look for the woman.

But have you ever wondered why exactly police cars are painted in colors they use? In fact, there are plenty of reasons for that in any given country. Let’s take the USA and Canada for example. When first North American police cars appeared in the early 1900s, pretty much all automobiles were painted black, and law enforcers weren’t any exception. Later, most authorities across the US thought it prudent to make police cars easily recognizable to the public. And so they worked out a color palette that would be both symbolic and affordable for the budget.

Why Gravity Is the Biggest Mystery of Our Universe
Gravity is a powerful force that affects everything we do. Physicists are fascinated by its mysteries and are on a quest to understand it. Isaac Newton first explained gravity, describing how objects are attracted to each other based on their mass and distance. Albert Einstein's theory of general relativity took gravity to a new level, explaining it as the curvature of space-time caused by massive objects. While we have a good grasp of gravity's behavior in certain situations, like planetary orbits, it becomes more complex on smaller and larger scales, leaving scientists with unanswered

Why Airlines Don't Supply Parachutes to Passengers
Have you ever wondered why passenger planes don't have parachutes? Well, parachutes large enough to safely land an entire plane would be incredibly heavy, and that extra weight would reduce the number of seats available for passengers. In the event of an emergency, panic would quickly set in among passengers, making it unlikely that they would be able to properly use their parachutes. It would be impractical and potentially dangerous to have untrained individuals attempting parachute landings during an emergency. Instead of individual parachutes, some lightweight aircraft have whole-plane parachutes installed.
