Phinsider Radio: The Miracle in Miami
No, Sutton is not expecting another child because of the Miami Dolphins’ “Miami Miracle” victory Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium versus the New England Patriots. We knew you’d all be wondering. We may take a step back and look at everything objectively for about .08% of the show, but the Phinsider Radio team will be rehashing one of the craziest finishes you’ll see in the NFL in a mostly hedonistic fashion. It’s a noteworthy game when the football gods smile down upon the Miami Dolphins - possibly for nefarious purposes - but a smile nonetheless. We also talk to Shaun Moore, whose priceless reaction is going viral. What was going through his mind and have the Dolphins reached out to him because of his reaction? Tune in - we break down the play that will live in the history books forever and give our thoughts on what lies ahead! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Phinsider Radio: Dolphins vs. Patriots, Xavien ...
On this week’s episode of Phinsider Radio, Matthew Cannata, Aaron Sutton, and Joshua Houtz discuss the Dolphins upcoming matchup vs the New England Patriots.  Can the Dolphins keep their playoff hopes alive and defeat the team that has dominated them for nearly two decades? Will Xavien Howard play despite his recent injury? If not, how will Tom Brady and Bill Belichick attack the Dolphins mediocre defense? We give our predictions and discuss the keys to victory on both sides of the football.  Switching gears to the offseason, the Dolphins will have quite a decision to make on two of their young superstars. Will the Dolphins choose to pay shutdown cornerback Xavien Howard? Can they afford Laremy Tunsil who has yet to allow a sack in 2018? Both players are critical to the team’s success moving forward, but can they do the right thing and re-sign both before their price tags become too much.  Lastly, we discuss the recent rumors about the Dolphins “blowing it all up” and the potential of Jim Harbaugh in Miami. If not Jim, what about John? Tune in to this edition of Phinsider Radio. Subscribe. Rate 5 stars. Share. We love you. All of you. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Phinsider Radio: Pay Xavien Howard, thoughts on...
If Charles Clay had caught Josh Allen’s wobbler in the Miami Dolphins win vs. the Buffalo Bills, it would’ve been all Phinsider Radio’s fault, as Sutton said Josh Allen isn’t very good and Charles Clay was unanimously voted as someone who “didn’t get better for another team,” contrary to what Jordan Phillips suggested. But, the Dolphins won so all that is moot. On this episode of Phinsider Radio, we’ll discuss:Allen and his future in the NFL. We heard on the broadcast that Allen was someone who Adam Gase likely would’ve drafted. Did Miami dodge a bullet or is he going to be a force in the AFC East for years to come? What do we make of Ryan Tannehill’s 5 TD, 1 INT return from his shoulder capsule injury?State of the offense and defense following the victoryXavien Howard and whether it’s time to pay him Subscribe. Phinsider Radio: Throwbacks, Jordan Phillips, K...
On this week’s episode of Phinsider Radio, Matthew Cannata, Aaron Sutton, and Josh Houtz preview Sunday’s matchup vs the Buffalo Bills. We hop in the Delorean and travel back in time to discuss the Dolphins’ iconic throwbacks. Should they make a full-time change, or would that ruin the nostalgia of prestigious unis? Can Matt Burke’s defense pressure Josh Allen, or will he have a Thad Lewis-type game vs Miami’s Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde defense? Former Miami Dolphins’ defensive tackle Jordan Phillips had some choice words for his former team, and suggested players thrive after they leave South Florida. We debunk this “fake news” and tell you why NO ONE should care what Phillips has to say.  We also discuss Kenny Stills recent comments about his lack of production, and tell you why the Dolphins need to find a way to get the speedy wide receiver the football.  Lastly, we give our predictions for this Sunday’s matchup, and break down what it will take to walk out of Hard Rock 6-6.  Listen. Phinsider Radio: Where do the Miami Dolphins go...
Up 10 points in the 4th quarter, the Miami Dolphins found itself in a position to shock NFL fans and escape Lucas Oil Stadium with a crucial road win. And yet, as the 4th quarter went on, the inescapable feeling of doom crept over us, as we are sure it did you, with the deja vu of ghosts’ past whispering how it’ll finally turn out. Opportunities were squandered, and the Miami Dolphins limped out of Indianapolis with a 27-24 defeat. With the Miami Dolphins all but mathematically eliminated from Playoff contention, the Phinsider Radio team will ask:Should Adam Gase be the coach of the Miami Dolphins? Does he still “have” the players? What kind of “reset” is necessary? How large a rebuild is this? Tune in for all this and more on Phinsider Radio! Learn more about your ad choices. Phinsider Radio: Carving the path to victory fo...
The Miami Dolphins have landed in Indianapolis and will take on the Colts on Sunday. Both teams are sporting a 5-5 record but they are both teams headed in opposite directions. Can the Dolphins stop their skid and right the ship or will they see their playoff hopes fade away with a loss? It’s going to start on the ground with Dolphins running back Frank Gore as he will be the key to the Dolphins offense. They’ll need a great game from him with a dash of Kenyan Drake as well. We talk about Gore and everything that he brings to the table for the Dolphins offense. But, Gore won’t be able to do it alone. They’ll need help from Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill. How will he be able to beat the Colts? To begin, he better hope the Colts don’t blitz because his grades aren’t the best. He’ll have to rely on a different receiver corps compared to what he had when he last played. Gone is Albert Wilson and Jakeem Grant. Questionable for Sunday’s game is Danny Amendola and DeVante Parker. Can Tannehill boost those around him and give this offense the spark it needs, or will he continue with the struggles he had before getting injured? Even if Tannehill comes back and sparks the offense, will it be enough to hold off Colts quarterback Andrew Luck? Luck and the Colts offense have been playing at an elite level the past few weeks and they are red hot coming into this game. The good news for Dolphins fans is that the Miami defense is ranked towards the top of the NFL when looking at their red zone defense and when it comes to forcing turnovers. Which force will come out on top? There’s a certain key to beating Luck and it’s not the blitz. Tune in to hear what we have to say. The Dolphins will need to do quite a few things right in order to win this game and it’s not going to be easy. Join us on #PhinsiderRadio as we lay out the path to victory for the Dolphins! What’s better than talking about the most divisive Miami Dolphins player of the last 7 years? Adding lightning rod Head Coach Adam Gase to the mix! Matthew Cannata, Josh Houtz, and Aaron Sutton will discuss the ins and outs of the news today that Ryan Tannehill will be the starting quarterback this Sunday vs. the Indianapolis Colts. The waters have never been murkier when it comes to Tannehill and Gase, but we’re going to roll up our sleeves and tackle some difficult issues. At the end of the day, we all want a consistent winner, and you might have as many varied opinions on how to get there as the Phinsider Radio triumvirate. Phinsider Radio: Very quick recap of Dolphins v...
The Miami Dolphins sit at .500 and on the outside-looking-in when it comes to the AFC Playoff picture. Ironic, the Dolphins are finally fortunate enough to have a bye later in the regular season, and yet cursed enough to have limited benefit from it. Perhaps we see the return of Ryan Tannehill, but there’s still work to be done. As we enter the Week 11 hiatus, the Phinsider Radio team sits down at the roundtable and ask ourselves the same question any new or returning coach or front office member would ask themselves: what do we have to work with? Matthew Cannata, Josh Houtz, and Aaron Sutton will discuss key expiring contracts a la Cameron Wake, William Hayes, and Ja’Wuan James, but we’ll also peruse some of the contracts that could be terminated to open up more cap space (e.g. Robert Quinn). Who do you keep and who do you not keep? You’ll hear our thoughts on the podcast, but please share your thoughts down below in the Comments Section or hit us up on Twitter! Phinsider Radio: The latest on Reshad Jones and...
On this week’s episode of Phinsider Radio, Matthew Cannata, Aaron Sutton and Josh Houtz discuss the Dolphins 13-6 victory over the New York Jets.  What happened with Reshad Jones and Matt Burke, and who’s to blame for the lack of communication. Is Matt Burke on the hot seat?  Oddly enough, the Dolphins defense played lights out with Jones on the sideline. Akeem Spence and Cameron Wake both had two sacks a piece. Kiko Alonso had an interception, as did T.J McDonald, Walt Aikens. Jerome Baker picked off an errant Sam Darnold throw and took it to the house.  Is this what we can expect from the defense moving forward, or are the Jets just that bad? On offense, the Dolphins struggled for the second consecutive week, and many are fed up with Brock Osweiler. Will Ryan Tannehill be healthy enough to start after the bye? Adam Gase admitted on Monday the Dolphins didn’t do a good enough job splitting touches between Kenyan Drake and Frank Gore. If the Dolphins want to have success during the second half of the season, Drake needs more touches.  Matthew Cannata discusses his experience as a credentialed member of the media, and the boys do the unthinkable and send Sam Darnold an edible arrangement for his contribution in Miami’s 2-0, series sweep of the lowly JESTS All this and more on this week’s episode of Phinsider Radio!
