Kevin also had thoughts on Serena Williams announcing that she is excited to play in the US Open. He also weighed in on an NFC East All-Decade Team.

Kevin opened with an exciting Facebook friend request and Thom opened with SMILE chalked out on a nearby sidewalk. They talked about the current states of play for the NBA and MLB. They also discussed the McGwire-Sosa 30 For 30 and Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy's "OAN" tee-shirt.

Kevin opened with Mayor Bowser's comments on the Redskins' name on The Team 980 this morning. Ben Standig/The Athletic then joined the show for a good 45-min or so for a Skins' football discussion as well.

Kevin had a problem with Thom thinking Andy would make a better Redskin HOF presenter than him. That's where they started. They talked about the greatest NBA shooters of all time, Ron Rivera's organizational leadership, and the latest Dwayne Haskins' tweet as well.

Kevin had Jason LaConfora/CBS Sports on the show today. Among the topics: 1) Kevin as DC guy and Jason as a Baltimore guy talked about the dynamic between sports fans in both cities during the years with no baseball in DC and no football in Baltimore. 2) Jason shared some memories of covering the Redskins for the Washington Post. 3) Jason weighed in on Ron Rivera, Dwayne Haskins, the Anthem, Kapernick, and more.

Kevin had to deal with a depressed Thom today. From a new world of journalistic rules, to Incel, to Death By Dignity. Thom was on the couch with Dr. Sheehan for much of the show. Some sports too including the new DC Sports Hall of Fame inductees and how the NFL will handle the anthem in 2020.

Kevin with more on Drew Brees to start before he got to the NBA's re-start plan. What's the NBA's plan for handling Covid 19? They really don't have one. Kevin explained. Then, Doug Kammerer/NBC 4's Meteorologist was a guest on the show. Doug talked about lightning strike truths and myths. Kevin of course talked snow storm favorites with Doug as well.

Kevin and Thom today with personal stories to start. Kevin had a confusing phone call and Thom had a tweet that riled up the masses. Kevin talked about Len Bias/ESPN night before the guys got to Drew Brees, George Floyd, Amy Klobuchar and more.

Kevin and Thom opened the show remembering Wes Unseld who passed away early this morning. They talked about the NY Daily News story that the Nets are interested in a future trade for Bradley Beal. They talked protests/riots and more.

Kevin solo today opened with the Nats' $100 per week controversy. He weighed in on the events of the weekend and talked some Reuben Foster too.

Kevin opened with the 4th and 15/onside kick proposal being tabled. He talked some Dwayne Haskins' social media and then brought Ben Standig/The Athletic on to talk Redskins. They recapped the last two days of coordinator press avails including Jack Del Rio's yesterday. Then they got to Skins' past......specifically the Gibbs 1.0 era and whether or not it's been properly remembered.

Kevin and Thom opened with their initial reactions to DC's legalized online sports betting offering. They talked about Scott Turner's comments on Dwayne Haskins and Haskins working out/throwing with Antonio Brown in Florida. The boys also discussed some of the greatest "plays" in sports history.

Kevin opens the show talking about what Ron Rivera told Mike Tirico about Alex Smith and a possible return. Adam Zielonka joins the show to talk about hockey's potential return and whether or not the Caps would have an advantage. Mark Zuckerman joins the show to talk about a potential baseball start to a season and the Nats weekend ring ceremony that didn't go according to plan.

Chris Simms/Pro Football Talk ranked Dwayne Haskins 39th out of 40 QBs in the NFL. Thom and Kevin got to it late in the show but they discussed. Iwo Jima, Dogs, and the sports take you'll never back off from makes up most of the remainder of the show.

Cooley joined Kevin today on the show and they each picked their current top 5 Redskins based on current production and future potential. Cooley watched "The Last Dance" and he considered whether he ever played with anyone near as competitive as Michael Jordan. Kevin talked Cody Latimer, Dexter Manley, and more.

Kevin and Thom today on a few states that said no sports a few weeks ago but now have the welcome mat out for any and all major leagues to begin play. They talked "winners and losers" from The Last Dance. Why Michael Jordan hated Maryland more than Duke was discussed. LeBron James would've been "the greatest football player of all time"? Doc Rivers said it and the boys reacted. What DC sports topic would make for a compelling 10-part documentary? The guys had a few ideas.

Kevin was joined by JP Finlay on the show today. They talked Dunbar, Lattimer, Haskins, and their limited knowledge of exclusive golf venues like Seminole. Kevin talked about how good Dwayne Haskins looks and the excitement beginning to build towards his 2020 season. Kevin then spent time talking about his belief that the hundreds of thousands of Redskin fans that have stopped attending and watching games in recent years are welcome back as fans whenever they are ready, no questions asked. "The Last Dance" and "Basketball County" also recapped.

Kevin opened with Quinton Dunbar arrest warrant news. He talked about the passing of Pepper Rodgers and his near head coaching job under Dan Snyder in Washington. Kevin also had Ben Golliver/Washington Post on the show to talk about the Kevin Durant documentary airing tonight on Showtime called "Basketball County: In the Water".

Kevin and Thom today with thoughts on a USA Today Wire story that credited Dan Snyder for a changing Redskins' culture. The boys also picked their favorite sports broadcast booth of all time. Thom weighed in on Urban Meyer's comments the other day about Dwayne Haskins and they spent time debating ESPN's Top 74 all-time NBA List.

Kevin solo today with a conversation that is both virus and politics free. He opened with thoughts on Urban Meyer's defense of Dwayne Haskins' first year in DC. Meyer was on an NFL Network podcast and ripped into the Skins' organizational culture. Also on the show today, Kevin tells you where ESPN got it wrong on its all-time NBA Player list.

Kevin and Thom argued,lectured, provided misinformation, and had questionable opinions all day. They talked testing, herd immunity, NFL and MLB resumption possibilities, "The Last Dance", NFL MVP odds and more. For some reason, they enjoy each other's company.

Kevin recapped the Redskins' schedule which was prime-time free for the first time since 1982. He gave a first-blush "best-case/worst-case" Skins' record for 2020. Scott Van Pelt jumped on for a few minutes to talk NFL Schedule, "The Last Dance", and more.

Kevin opened the show vowing that this year's "Mock Schedule" will be his last. Thom was in and the guys talked about Jack Del Rio's latest tweet. Thom shared his thoughts on the Dwayne Haskins letter and then the guys talked about Caps' winger Brendan Leipsic's private messages that have prompted apologies and a league investigation.
