January 2, 2023 -<br /><br />On this Monday version of The Terrible Take, Alex Kozora explains why the Pittsburgh Steelers' success in two-minute drills the last two weeks are rooted in what the team does in August.

January 2, 2023 -<br /><br />Season 13, Episode 69 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers beating the Baltimore Ravens on the road Sunday night.<br /><br />There’s a lot to talk about in this show and we start by going over the pregame roster moves as well as the inactive list ahead of the Sunday night game. We quickly get into the big win over the Ravens with rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett playing a huge part in that. We talk about the several good things that Pickett did Sunday night and especially late in the game.<br /><br />We spend a lot of time talking about the play of the Steelers' offense Sunday night and that includes talking about how strong the running game was. We go over several key plays and stats from Sunday night like we usually do in these postgame shows.<br /><br />After spending a lot of time on the offense, Alex and I flip over to talking about the play of the Steelers' defense against the Ravens. We talk snaps counts, individual performances and more. We also talk a little scheme and go over a few key stats on that side of the football.<br /><br />As you would expect, we talk some special teams stuff late in the show. We also discuss the Steelers' playoff scenarios entering Week 18. December 19, 2022 - <br /><br />Season 13, Episode 63 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Sunday afternoon road win against the Carolina Panthers.<br /><br />We start by talking about the Steelers’ pregame inactive list ahead of Sunday's game and how inside linebacker Myles Jack was on it. That resulted in Steelers’ rookie inside linebacker Mark Robinson dressing and playing on Sunday, so we talk a little about that as well.<br /><br />We thoroughly go over the play of the Steelers on offense, defense, and special teams against the Panthers. We discuss the running game on offense, the long drives, which included a 21-play one. We also talk about the play of quarterback Mitch Trubisky and wide receiver Diontae Johnson on Sunday. Johnson’s silly penalty in the third quarter is also discussed when we go over the play of the offense.<br /><br />The Steelers’ defense played well against the run on Sunday so we make sure to highlight that. We go over the third down conversions the defense allowed that were a bit concerning. Outside linebacker Alex Highsmith had a really nice showing against the Panthers so we make sure to talk about that.<br /><br />The stupid penalty by Steelers’ inside linebacker Marcus Allen is surely discussed in this show and we talk briefly about some special teams items from the game against the Panthers.<br /><br />What do the Steelers’ playoff scenarios look like right now?
