April 12, 2023 - <br /><br />Season 13, Episode 113 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers surprisingly releasing outside linebacker Jamir Jones on Wednesday morning and if there is anything to read into that transaction.<br /><br />The Steelers will be signing defensive lineman Armon Watts soon, according to his agent, so Alex and I dive into what his tape says. We also talk about what the defensive line depth chart looks like with the two new recent additions and if impacts the team's draft outlook at that position group in any way.<br /><br />The Steelers have three more pre-draft visitors in town on Wednesday, so Alex and I go over those players. We also review what the updated top-30 visit tracker shows on this Wednesday.<br /><br />It sounds like Tampa Bay Buccaneers inside linebacker Devin White wants to be traded so Alex and I address the possibility of the Steelers pursuing him via a deal.<br /><br />Next year at this same time we could be talking about a forthcoming contract extension for Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth, so Alex and I get way ahead on that possible outlook and market value.<br /><br />YouTube has announced their pricing for their new NFL Sunday Ticket package, so Alex and I discuss that topic for a bit later in this show.<br /><br />Finally, we review Alex's latest mock draft in this show as we go through each of his seven selections.<br /><br />We answer a few listener questions late in this show to close things out. In this Friday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers recent pre-draft visitors that came in on Thursday. We also discuss the list of pre-draft visitors to date.<br /><br />The new contract details related to four Steelers players are now in so Alex and I discuss those numbers. We also have a conversation about the security of tight end Zach Gentry related to his new deal and if it opens up the chances for the Steelers to draft another tight end this year. We go over a few tight ends in this year’s draft class that would fit with the Steelers that could be had in day-two and beyond.<br /><br />Alex and I then move on to discuss the Steelers current salary cap situation now that all outstanding deals are known.<br /><br />In the second half of this podcast, Alex and I conduct another pre-draft roundtable discussion. This time our guests are Tyler Wise, Owen Straley, Ross McCorkle and Joe Cammarota. The six of us address various positions related to this year's draft class for about an hour. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers recent addition of Glenn Thomas as the team's new offensive assistant. We also talk a little about his past link to quarterback Kenny Pickett.<br /><br />The Steelers also have finally formerly announced Gerald Alexander as the team's assistant defensive backs coach after he was apparently on the staff last season. We address that development and how we missed him in 2022.<br /><br />The Steelers 2023 pre-draft visitor list continues to grow so Alex and I recap who all has visited with the team, or is planning to visit. We look at the overall list to date in totality once again as well.<br /><br />Some numbers related to the contract signed by new Steelers safety Keanu Neal have been reported so Alex and I quickly go over those. We also discuss the formal announcement from Tuesday of four recent players who have inked deals this offseason.<br /><br />The Steelers are almost surely going to restructure the contract of outside linebacker T.J. Watt at some point this offseason so Alex and I discuss what that might look like.
