In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the breaking news concerning the Pittsburgh Steelers releasing veteran cornerback Arthur Maulet. We talk about why that transaction likely happened, the tiny cap savings created by the move, the uncertainty the team has at the slot position and much more.<br /><br />In a few recent tweets, former Steelers inside linebacker Vince Williams has suggested that Pittsburgh give guard Kendrick Green a look at fullback so that creates an interesting discussion between Alex and me.<br /><br />The 2023 regular season schedule will be released Thursday night, so I let Alex know why that annual event captures my attention more than it does with him.<br /><br />Former Steelers head coach Bill Cowher told quite a few great stories during his recent appearance on the "Footbahlin with Ben Roethlisberger" podcast, so we discuss a few of these during this show.<br /><br />With the 2023 NFL Draft now behind us, we have our first of two roundtable discussions on Wednesday. April 30, 2023 - <br /><br />Season 13, Episode 123 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Sunday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers three selections that they made on day-three of the 2023 NFL Draft.<br /><br />We roll through our analysis of outside linebacker Nick Herbig, cornerback Cory Trice Jr., and guard Spencer Anderson in the first part of this podcast. We spend a lot of time discussing Herbig's positional fit at the NFL level, why Trice fell to the seventh round and if Anderson might have potential as a backup center. We let you know what we know and don't know about all these three players ahead of doing more tape study on each of them.<br /><br />The Steelers initial undrafted free agent class was announced Sunday morning, so Alex and I roll through those seven players. Once again, we talk about the little we do know about each of them. We also discuss the overall roster size at this point.<br /><br />The Steelers signed a new cornerback in Chandon Sullivan on Saturday, so Alex and I briefly discuss his addition and what he brings to the Pittsburgh roster.
