In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the contract details related to new Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker Markus Golden, who was signed to a one-year deal last week.</p> <p>As part of that conversation, we discuss comments made on Tuesday by Golden in addition to passing along what one of his former teammates, J.J. Watt, had to say Tuesday night about the Steelers new addition.</p> <p>With the NFLPA now caught up with the Steelers recent transactions, Alex and I go over where the team now sits salary cap-wise as of Wednesday morning. We discuss the team&#39;s cap outlook moving forward into June as well.</p> <p>Steelers second year inside linebacker Mark Robinson made a big play during the team&#39;s Tuesday OTA practice so Alex and I discuss that news and the 2023 outlook for him.</p> <p>We go over a few other OTA items for the Steelers as part of this show and discuss a few recent posts on the site as well. Bell gave us quite a bit to chew on during that interview, so we go through all the main talking points. We also discuss the possibility of him retiring as a member of the Steelers down the road. The Steelers will reportedly look at another long snapper this coming week, so Alex and I discuss that news. We also talk about who has the best shot at being the Steelers returner in 2023 with wide receiver Calvin Austin III seemingly back healthy again. In this Monday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the recent interview of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett on the Footbahlin with Ben Roethlisberger podcast that dropped on Sunday night.<br /><br />We obviously spend a lot of time talking about the comments made by former Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger on his initial feelings that he hoped Pickett wouldn’t succeed right after the team drafted him.<br /><br />Alex and I dive deeper into other great talking points to come out of the Pickett interview on the Roethlisberger podcast and there are a lot of those to run through.The new contract details for two other Steelers quarterbacks, Mitch Trubisky and Mason Rudolph, are now out so Alex and I make sure to go over those financials. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about some recent transactions made by the Pittsburgh Steelers that have been made official by the team. Those include the claiming of defensive lineman Manny Jones off waivers and defensive lineman Renell Wren being placed on the Reserve/Injured list.<br /><br />The Steelers are reportedly expected to sign a few players to their offseason roster ahead of the team's first OTA practice next week and that list should include quarterback Mason Rudolph and wide receiver Hakeem Butler, just to name a few. We talk about the surprise potential return of Rudolph and what that might mean when it comes to the quarterback room.
