Brian Laundrie has been missing since at least September 14. The person of interest in Gabby Petito's death told his parents that he intended to hike in the Carlton Reserve, but he has not returned. Three days before he left, Laundrie’s girlfriend Gabby Petito was reported missing by her family. Those knowledgeable with the rough terrain point out it would be difficult to survive in that area, which is now mostly underwater, for an extended period of time. There is no potable water and little dry ground to camp. A warrant has been issued for Brian Laundrie, the boyfriend of deceased Gabby Petito, but in her death. A grand jury indicted Laundrie for his "use of unauthorized devices" after Petito died. Documents state that Laundrie used a debit card and PIN number for accounts that did not belong to him for charges totaling more than $1,000 between the dates of August 30 and September 1. An autopsy is being conducted today on the body believed to be Gabby Petito. This is as authorities in Florida resume their search for Petito’s boyfriend Brian Laundrie. Barry Morphew will find out this week whether there is enough evidence to proceed to trial in the murder of his wife Suzanne. During a preliminary hearing, Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office Undersheriff Andy Rohrich testified that photos taken of Barry Morphew shortly after Suzanne’s disappearance showed numerous superficial injuries, including cuts and scrapes on his upper arms that may be fingernail scratches. Barry Morphew also had injuries on the outside of his hands, but it is unclear if investigators believe all of those injuries were recent. Information also came out that Suzanne Morphew was having an affair. Investigators found two of three books in the Morphew home that are believed to have been important to Suzanne: A Bible and Alcoholics Anonymous book. Detectives were also advised to look for a journal. While they didn’t find an intact journal, investigators reportedly found possible evidence of a journal burned in the fireplace.
