While not so far back that they get to see Mike's early life, they do get a chance to see how far the man needed to be pushed before he made the choice to join. In 2533, Mike is a criminal running drugs on the streets of the Paradise Falls colony. Tarkov returns to the Aegis Fate to question the ship's captain and voice his concerns with the Office of Naval Intelligence holding so much power in the UNSC. Teaming up with some old and new brothers in arms, Tarkov must keep that power in check.

Tarkov and Jane get pulled out of The Knowing's chamber by Stanforth, who now needs Tarkov to hold off the incoming Covenant retaliation until UNSC reinforcements can assist.

Jane and Tarkov venture under the surface of the crater to find what Abaddon has been looking for.

Delta Four has been deployed by Vice Admiral Stanforth to stop the Covenant from reaching whatever it is under the surface of the planet.

With Delta Four now having convinced the Admiral of the event on Imber being true, the team takes some time to relax and discuss their past few days.

Ortega is forced to release Tarkov after a certain party comes to his rescue. A new set of eyes is on Tarkov and his team, very curious about learning more of his experiences on Imber.

Delta Four evaluates the situation as they prepare to evacuate off of Imber and wrap up the mission. Tarkov's mental state appears to be deteriorating.

Delta Four is dragged into a situation they never could have seen coming. ONI begins to become wary of Tarkov's testimony.

The team has dropped onto the surface of Imber, but come upon strange circumstances that will quickly test their resolve on the battlefield. Tarkov’s interrogation grows more intense.

Operation: DEVIL FREEDOM has begun. Tarkov prepares for the mission with his team, but things already begin to seem uncertain for them.
