Cassie and Danielle from National Park After Dark joined us recently for the first (and hopefully not last) Tooth and Claw Interview Series to talk a little bit about the history of feeding bears in Yellowstone, and then answer a slew of mostly ridiculous questions about themselves, including who between them would win in a fight and whether cake and ice cream counts as one desert, or two.

And who better to help cover the topic than Michael and Bryce, our good friends over at Bigfoot Collectors Club. They brought a couple of what may or may not be bigfoot encounters, and Wes does his best to be scientific about it. Then the boys get into a bunch of Halloween-ish categories with the guests, who don't disappoint.

Wes takes the gang through a couple of stories involving piranhas that made him, and consequently Jeff and Mike, reconsider just how dangerous the fish actually is.

In this episode, the guys each bring a handful of noteworthy animal attack stories that hit the headlines recently, and then draft (with varying degrees of success) a soccer team made up of animals.

The guys are once again joined by Payne Lindsey to wrap up the true tale of a dingo attack that dominated Australian headlines all through the 1980s. Wes breaks down all of the twists and turns of the ensuing legal battle, and then wraps things up with a batch of categories and listener questions.

The boys talk Tolkien in this diversionary bonus episode, specifically their hopes and fears for the new Rings of Power series coming out this week. Wes struggles to restrain himself when it comes to bringing up the Silmarillion and Jeff just struggles to say Silmarillion. Somehow we end up ranking "hot" tolkien characters with emojis.

Payne brings some very welcome investigative know-how to the show as Wes tells the horrifying true tale of a dingo attack that shook Australia throughout the 1980s.

Jeff once again takes the lead to tell the tragic and cautionary tale of Marius, a South African man with a penchant for the outdoors and exotic animals, and his pet hippo Humphrey. Wes dives deep into how many people are killed by hippos every year, and then the guys wrap things up by discussing their favorite drug dealers (we promise it makes sense by the end).
