Cori Dionne "Coco" Gauff, born on March 13, 2004, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Candi and Corey Gauff, was destined for greatness from the very beginning. Growing up in a family of athletes, with her father having played college basketball at Georgia State University and her mother being a former gymnast and track athlete at Florida State University, Coco was exposed to the world of sports from an early age.
