Rory Mcilroy got back into the winners circle this past week at the Scottish Open for the first time since October of 2022. After leaving a make-able birdie putt on the 16th hole to the low side, he trailed the hometown Scotsman Robert MacIntyre by 1 shot heading into the final 2 holes. After knocking in the birdie on 17 he was faced with a 210 yard approach to the 18th- the toughest hole on the PGA Tour and a hole that had only been birdied twice during the entire round.
