But now, they need to find common ground, because they're fishing together for the first time ever at the Knights Of Columbus Walleye Classic. They popped in after their first day of pre-fishing...and it was a blast.

The KC Walleye Classic is this Saturday and there will be 200 anglers on the water vying for the the $12,000+ top prize. While reports were spotty in general, it was lights out on Red Lake opening weekend. 100 fish days, bites everywhere and nice sizes. Legendary Red lived up to its hype this opener.

We tried to start a family feud with two sets of Petersons...but they didn't really take the bait. They did have a lot to say about the opener and the upcoming KC Walleye Classic, however.

Even though it looked bleak, turns out we'll be fishing tomorrow, and Toby Kvalevog will be flying across Leech Lake looking for walleyes. We'll get his thoughts on the upcoming season, the health of Leech Lake and several other topics that pop up. And of course, there's a Fast Five.
