When inside, Doris’s beast was consumed with paranoia and she sought refuge at the bottom of the corpse pile, where she followed a vision to retrieve a mysterious journal. The coterie decided to divide and conquer. While Doris and Evangeline made their way back to the recreation centre to gather more evidence, Val and Everett investigated the Malkavian headquarters. Val was stuck with new clan leader Sam Buttwise and was forced to apologize to him for having unlawfully detained him.
