The Binghamton Rumble Ponies season came to an end on Tuesday in Erie, but what a season it was. We briefly recap some of the biggest positives that unfolded during the Rumble Ponies season in the last episode of the 2023 campaign.

Despite a huge 3-run game-tying home run from Drew Gilbert, the Rumble Ponies trail 1-0 in their best-of-three series against the Erie SeaWolves after a 9-6 loss in Game 1.

The Rumble Ponies and SeaWolves were ready to kick the Eastern League Championship Series off, but mother nature had other plans. An episode that was supposed to be an instant reaction to Game 1 turned into Jon talking about how he spent his rainy weekend; but with that is the news on the plan for the rest of the ELCS, and a brief wrap on the Syracuse Mets season. The Rumble Ponies jump out to a 1-0 series lead in their best-of-three Northeast Division Championship series against the Somerset Patriots. Christian Scott and Luis Moreno dazzled on the mound, while Jett Williams’ first Double-A Home Run was the decisive knock-out punch. Jon shares a sentimental moment he had watching the home run, which Vito missed while somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean (but he’ll love what he sees when he lands!)
