Win In Rome
In 2016, the Rome Braves were one of the youngest teams in Minor League Baseball. While the roster was loaded with first round draft picks and big-league prospects, this talented band of mostly teenagers would struggle mightily during the first half of the season. No one knew it at the time, but future household names such as Austin Riley, Max Fried and Ronald Acuña Jr. would lead the 2016 Rome Braves on a second-half run for the ages and lay the foundation for a historic era of excellence of Atlanta Braves baseball. “Behind the Braves Presents: Win In Rome” tells the story of this incredible team through the memories of Austin Riley, Max Fried, A.J. Minter, broadcaster Kevin Karel, manager Randy Ingle and front office executives Mike Dunn and Jonathan Schuerholz.
