In her role as Executive Director, Broadcasting & Special Events for the New York Mets, Lorraine has worked hard to put together incredible ceremonies including the Shea Goodbye, the 9/11 anniversary tributes, and number retirements. Lorraine was involved in the inception, build and execution of the newly unveiled Tom Seaver statue. Her dedication to the project was motivated by her close and longstanding professional relationship with Seaver. Before Lorraine retires later this year, she sits down with Jay Horwitz to talk about memories of working at Shea Stadium in the 80s, helping to organize Mike Piazza's number retirement, Cooperstown induction and the importance of honoring the Mets long history.
