He has an interesting take on Ervin Santana's 1-hit gem from Saturday, as he was also sitting behind the plate when Ervin tossed a no-hitter against Cleveland. He is also quick to note how valuable Santana can be for the younger members of the staff. The Twins lost a tough one, 2-1, to the Tigers despite a strong start from Hector Santiago, who went 6 1/3 innings and allowing just two runs. Afterwards, manager Paul Molitor talked about the loss.
