In all areas of science and discovery, there are women working on acquiring new knowledge and solving problems. But even in 2018, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine (STEMM) suffer from a lack of women representation. The experiences of women working in these fields often remain unheard in industries still just beginning to navigate their way out of an established male-dominated culture.
In this series brought to you by the UTS Athena SWAN pilot, early and mid-career women researchers share their personal stories and insights. Raising their voices to highlight the diversity and the common ground of being women in STEMM.
