Ethical Gut Health with Josh Dech
Josh Dec is an ex-paramedic, holistic nutritionist, medical lecturer, and Physician’s consultant for IBD and other complex digestive diseases. Through Functional medicine Josh gets to the root causes that create symptoms. With this lens, he’s able to go beyond putting a “Band-Aid" on symptoms with medication, and work to find the root causes and contributing factors to actually reverse the disease processes. Because of the incredible success he’s had reversing gut diseases like Crohn’s and Colitis (and other digestive issues that most doctors say can’t be helped), he’s partnered with medical clinics across the country to help their patients get better too. Josh helps us understand the differences between IBS, IBD, Crohn’s and Colitis, how it can be reversed and gut health can be restored.

Ethical Masterclass in Resilience with Brian Bo...
Last time we caught up with Brian Bogert was in Episode 170 in October 2023. Brian is a heart surgeon without a blade. He does not start outside with what you need to DO, he starts inside with who you ARE. In a world that is disconnected, Brian is revolutionizing how organizations and entrepreneurs deeply connect with their authentic selves to achieve the highest levels of wealth in monetary riches, time, relationships, and health. At just 7 years old, Brian was faced with a traumatic injury that most of us can barely even imagine. He was run over by a truck and his left arm was severed from his body. After years of intensive rehabilitation and over 24 surgeries, Brian has a deep lived understanding of how physical, emotional, and mental pain can keep people buried, regardless of what their initial trauma was. His belief that everyone’s story is as important as his own is what makes him one of the most accessible, relatable, and authentic individuals you will ever meet. Brian is back by popular demand on The Ethical Evolution to help bring us a masterclass in taking out our trash, connecting with ourselves and unlocking the secrets to resilience.

Ethical Assisted Dying with Chris
This episode is a special, requested episode for a story that really needs to be told. For privacy reasons, my guest will remain anonymous but will be known as Chris. When a friend reached out to me to ask me if I would like to share his story, I knew this was a conversation that needed to be had and could provide release, value and understanding in a situation that poses ethical questions and a path to peace. Chris was the recipient of a double lung and heart transplant after a lifetime of health issues and has since been diagnosed with an aggressive cancer which is making its way toward his brain. He made the brave decision to refuse radiation treatment and surgery and has been approved to participate in voluntary assisted dying in Queensland. This conversation is not an easy one, but one that Chris bravely navigates in the hope that others learn the true value of life and to assist others facing a similar situation. At times it is raw and confronting and if you or someone you know is impacted by this conversation - help is available - speak to someone today - here in Australia Lifeline is available 24 hours a day on 13 11 14.
