<p>Today Albie and Jeramey celebrate the Track &amp; Field teams along with Ludvig Aberg for phenomenal showings this past week with some substantial accolades. As for the baseball team, however, could we have got placed in a more difficult regional? </p>

<p>Following last week&#39;s examination of Texas Tech Athletic Director Kirby Hocutt, we are excited to bring on Sportico&#39;s Daniel Libit for an exclusive interview regarding his work as an investigative journalist, his experience breaking the Stollings story, and what kind of morality can exist in the upper-echelon of college athletics. </p>

<p>In what will probably be our most controversial episode, Albie and Jeramey decide to take on a topic that has been largely avoided: Kirby Hocutt. The Texas Tech Athletic Director since 2011, Hocutt has done an exceptional job at creating visible progress around various athletic programs. He has also navigated six head coaches leaving the University on the basis of student-athlete abuse (five since 2020). Why hasn&#39;t there been more scrutiny of his tenure? Does Texas Tech have some sort of risk-reward scale pertaining to his employment? We look at Hocutt&#39;s best and worst of the past 12 years. </p>

<p>Albie and Jeramey go over Texas Tech&#39;s new basketball coach hire, Grant McCasland, following his presser on Monday. What&#39;s exciting about the hire, what&#39;s concerning about the hire, and where should your expectations be heading into year one? </p>

<p>Albie and Jeramey take some time to reflect on Texas Tech basketball. The Lady Raiders have their best season since 2013 making it to the WNIT Super 16 but ultimately falling to Arkansas, while the men&#39;s program seemingly is waiting for the NIT to finish before hiring their new coach. <p>Selection Sunday came and went and neither the men's or women's programs were invited to the Big Dance. The Lady Raiders, however, are WNIT bound for the first time since the 2012-2013 season! <p>"The season from Hell" finally met its close at the hands of West Virginia in the opening round of the Big 12 Tournament, but that hasn't been the talk of the town for fans of Texas Tech. Mark Adams made some not-so-savory comments towards a student athlete and went from a suspension to downright stepping away from the head coaching role. Texas Tech is, once again, on the hunt for another head coach for its once illustrious basketball program. Albie and Jeramey break down the breakdown and talk through some of the names on the shortlist for the next HC.</p>

<p>This week Albie and Jeramey look towards the men's incredible back-to-back road wins over West Virginia and Oklahoma and the Lady Raider's back-to-back overtime performances against Oklahoma State and West Virginia. The men's basketball team grits out a win in Baton Rouge against the lowly LSU team before handing Iowa State one hell of a stunner in Lubbock a few days later. Lady Raider basketball struggles to get a win against a good Oklahoma State team despite being tied with four minutes to go. Albie and Jeramey break down this week's action and look ahead to exciting matchups.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Albie and Jeramey take a look at a tough double loss by the Texas Tech basketball teams; a thumping at home by West Virginia for the men and a tough loss on the road for the women. Not all losses are the same and we are excited for the trajectory of the Lady Raiders - the men, however, are not as inspiring right now.&nbsp;</p>
