He grew up playing football (as the other safety) alongside Rams free agent acquisition Eric Weddle here in Southern California. Ward has maintained a relationship with Weddle, as the new Rams safety continued his football career in the NFL. He shares some insight on Weddle and his move back home. Rams Uncensored Ep. 9: L.A. Rams Draft Hat & Mo...
Matt Herrera, Brian Joanou and Tommy Avants open the show discussing the new rule change in the NFL making pass interference reviewable. This rule change partially came about to change something that had already happened – the missed defensive pass interference call against Nickell Robey-Coleman that likely saved the NFC Championship Game against the New Orleans Saints. There are many things to not like about the rule change and the guys all give their perspectives. Later, Mark Lujan joins the show, and Tommy brings up how analysts on NFL Network keep drafting running backs for the Rams on mock drafts. We all find this confusing, being that this is one of the best defensive drafts ever. This takes us a little deeper into draft talk, where we discuss the chances of Jachai Polite falling to the Rams and where the Rams take him if he does fall on Day 2. We also have mixed feelings about the Rams Draft Hat this year. There is only one thing we can agree on, which is that the 2019 Draft Hats are not great at all. We finish our discussion with the AAF, Zombieland AND, in probably our best finish yet, the guys all have something to say regarding Rams Twitter. You have been warned.
